Absolutely, but they still do have a clutch that they release when they launch and that has the possibility of making the car stall if done incorrectly.

As far as i know, there is no difference whatsoever, brake line wise as my set also did not come with them and i just used the ones that came stock. Mine did come with the dust shield and Lonnie did install them, i´m pretty sure they are relatively cheap if you just search them on Ford´s parts...
