I look at it like this after having owned a 2002 trans am with 400hp to the wheels with a built tranny and 4400 stall torque converter, and later owning a 2002 z28 with 470hp to the wheels with a built manual transmission and 3.90 gears. I liked the z28 more. Why? Because a I rarely drag raced...
I had a similar exhaust system on my 2002 z28 a few years ago. Headers into true duals with the same chamber mufflers. The sound was absolutely incredible
There's no reason for this to be an automatic only feature, especially since it's more beneficial to manual transmission cars. Turn it on, set the brake, pop the clutch, smile
I'm not one for chrome or light colored interiors but for the people worried about a big mark-up, would the X-plan pricing be a way around that? Or can a dealer simply add a mark up on top of it for being a special edition?
Hey i was wondering if anyone had heard anything yet about direct fuel injection coming to the 5.0. I read a rumor that it was coming to the 2016 model but not 2015 yet and was wondering if there's any evidence to that or if it's just a theory
Thanks

Yeah you're right. I guess now I just need to find out if x-plan will be available right away on the new mustang. Its not available on current Shelby's. They may remove it from all mustangs when the new models come out.
I hope you guys are wrong about dealers trying to charge at or above msrp when these come out. Maybe I can pit a few internet sales departments against each other. I was hoping for like $500 above invoice or something like that. But if not, I have access to X-Plan with my job and recent college...
Wow I didn't know that. Thats good to know if the car ever has to go in for major service. I'm considering the track pack bc I like the black wheels and taller gear in the rear but my car probably would only ever see the quarter mile in terms of track use so I was probably gonna run Mobil 1 0w40...
Man I sure wish this car was available in Grabber Blue! It has long been my favorite color on the newer mustangs. I want a 2015 but I'd wait if I found out grabber blue would return in 2016!
