For what it's worth, a member on the facebook group supposedly has a contact in Dearborn, Michigan who told him the QC issue has something to do with the "firewall". About 4000 vehicles are being checked then released ASAP. Just passing it on.

No one ever answered this question. The CJ web site clearly states that the regular bracket will fit all 2015 Mustangs except the 1,964 Limited Edition models and the GT PP models. There is no mention of it not fitting the 50th appearance package GTs. So, I ordered the regular bracket and now...

My point exactly! If I was not a student of the current Mustang family, that report would have totally mislead me. Poor journalism is right! :headbonk:

Have you driven both of them? I drove an Ecoboost before and after I drove the GT. I just couldn't go back to the Eco after the GT test drive! I need all the goodies of Premium in either case! Mine is still on order.

Did anyone see the ABC national news tonight? They ended with a story about the "fake" engine noise in the Ecoboost Mustangs. Ugh! It was not a very accurate report! It may be amplified engine noise but as I understand it it's not "fake". Just hate to see a good car maligned on TV! Too bad.

Cheer up! When you are 65 like me, she won't care what you spend your time on. Ha ha. There are some benefits to aging. :shrug:

Hey neighbor! What dealer did you use? I'm waiting on mine through Portsmouth Ford. I talked to Auto Fair in Manchester about an LE they were waiting for but other folk were already in line.

I ordered it for the grill, gas cap, and rear light trim. I don't care about the floor mats. Just ordered all weather from WeatherTech. I like the 19 inch wheels too.
