You will get a louder tone but, if you wanted a deeper tone, save a little extra and get the Long tubes + H-pipe. The Catted H-pipe with long tubes is what I'm about to install (Just waiting on the Catted H-pipe to come in the mail any day now).
I had a Diablosport for months, horrible experience/customer service. Sold it and ended up buying an SCT from unleashed. Torrie is a rock star regarding tunes! Go with an Unleashed SCT tuner and you will be ore than pleased!
I'm a bit angry as I had ordered my BBK long tubes and Catted BBK H-mid pipe back in mid December. The long tubes came pretty quickly but, the H-pipe was promised to come by January, then re-promised to come by the end of Jan, Same things said for FEB...So, I told BBK to refund me the money for...
Any way to hook up a 2015 V6 w/ BBK long tubes to your V8 H-pipe, to connect to Roush axle-backs? Could this be done using 2 1/2" -to- 2 1/4" Adapters? I would love to have the V8 H pipe hooked up to my BBK V6 long tube headers...Or, does Steeda have a V6 mid pipe coming out soon for the 2015/16...
JLT Catch Can Saves The Day!!!!
To Think, THIS all would have entered my upper intake?!?!?!
THANKS JLT!!!!! If you're thinking of buying an oil catchcan, DO IT! Or, else- this is what's entering you engine!!!!!!
Have you ever turned the car on and just started Reving the engine? This is a major cause of pre-mature engine wear and very dangerous to do. You should always let the car warm up as well as the oil temp, which takes A LOT longer in the colder months. You car should be under warranty so take it...
I've been told by BBK that the Long tubes + H=Catted Mid-pipe will actually cut the "rasp', vice going with Shorties and an Non-Catted X-pipe which they said will be A LOT more raspy. Some people want that loudness, not me. Hence the Catted H-mid pipe BBK is going to ship at the end of the...
The reducer is a tight fit- is the biggest understatement of the century!!! I have a 73mm BBK throttle body and was about to give up! I got it on but, I need to re-adjust it. How did you heat it up? I was thinking about using hand sanitizer (the clear alcohol type) to quickly lube the throttle...
SWEET!!!! Love this, Mine should be installed tomorrow (hopefully*). Torrie has already sent me an updated set of Tunes as well for my SCT! Now, just waiting for my Long Tube Headers and Catted H-pipe from BBK!
I ordered the BBK Catted Mid/H-pipe w/ the matching chrome BBK long tube headers. I am going to wrap the headers good as well. I'll post a video when it all arrives and is installed. (I haven't seen any on Youtube with my setup to include the Roush axlebacks+my JLT cold air intake due to arrive...
I will upload, no worries. Still waiting for them to arrive here in the U.K.
I think the Catted H-pipe with long tubes HAS to sound legit! Catless with the Roush Axlebacks would be insane but, I get up early for work and it's a daily driver so my neighbors wouldn't really enjoy that. I hope...
BBK has Catted and O/R H-pipes! Just ordered the Catted one to go with BBK Long Tubes. (I think the O/R is a bit more raspy than the Catted but, you will get a bit more HP with O/R).
Hope this helps!
Hello All,
I have just ordered a set of BBK Chrome Long Tune Headers and
a BBK [mid]Catted-H-pipe for my 2015 sixer. I already have Roush Axlebacks (which I love!!) but, I want a deeper tone, Hence the H-pipe and Long tube purchase.
I also have a new JLT Cold air intake coming in the mail now...
Just ordered my 2015 V6 a JLT CAI with prefilter!!! Can't wait!! Some people are happy for 'Star Wars'...Not this guy! I'm happy for more growl and HP!! JLT is the best!
