I'm getting close to pulling the trigger on this. I'm interested if you can go back to stock after installing in case I ever sell, or want to upgrade to another unit.
Understood. Altered was a poor choice of words, but the MAF is different than stock. This is what accounts for the $100 increase in price, and why there is not a reducer at the throttle body.
So still not apples to apples, in my mind (Calibrated MAF vs. Nothing), but sounds like it's well...
I have a question. Isn't comparing your no-tune intake to other no tune intakes like comparing apples to oranges? I'm not trying to be combative by any means. I just want to know if it is a fair comparison since your's alters the MAF signal.
I truly am interest since I am planning to...
Looks like the same one mentioned in another thread except sold through Amazon instead of Aliexpress.

It is pretty much the same unit, with a different skin. It has time issues as well. That is why I haven't bought any of them. I'll stick with base radio for now.
That software is designed to use a Bluetooth OBD adapter, and was probably not designed to use OBD informati that is accessed through hard wired means. Changing that would need to be done in the main code of the program, most likely, if it is not an option to begin with.
So all of these units are built on the Windows CE 6.0 Platform, from what I can tell. In their current state, CarPlay and Android Auto will not run on this OS (also from the best I can tell).
Win CE 6.0 is an older operating system that Microsoft quit mainstream support for in 2013 and has...
No luck yet casting directly from an iPhone to a Fire TV Stick, but I rooted/jailbroke the Fire Stick last night and am going to try some more. It is really simple to root the Fire Stick so I'm hoping it will be easy to find an app that allows direct casting now.
This typically only works on jailbroken iPhones though. The issue is that one you tether, your phone wifi is taken over by the hot spot, and your phone is strictly using your cell data. The phone and Chromecast are on different networks, so the phone cannot cast to Chromecast. The work around...
This. I typically stay out of forum drama, but he pokes his nose in threads all over. Then when people dispute what he says, he takes exception and takes things to another level.
I'm done with this, and won't post again about it, but think the hypocrisy is great when he says he uses a drop...
