  1. Next big upgrade

Plenty of good deals out there on used intercooler. You'll understand when you compare one beside the stock unit. You can't get a DP unless going with an aftermarket tune. A weighted shift knob is a great upgrade for rowing gears!
  2. Ford Racing ProCal Tune

I'll just keep checking Mustang6g! Somebody will know when it gets updated
  3. Ford Racing ProCal Tune

Electrickery! My pedal feels just fine, real responsive
  4. Next big upgrade

You can feel a performance boost with the intercooler on stock tune. Once you pull the stock unit off you'll understand. 1st mod
  5. Keeping her clean

I'd go with Meguires Gold Class soap as previously mentioned. Then something like Blackfire Wet Over Ice combo for the sealer. Then Blackfire makes a rinseless wash and spray wax for maintenance.
  6. Ford Racing ProCal Tune

I've got a different intake installed. Runs great, no issues. Now that I've been tuned for a week the difference is night and day. Pulls hard right to redlines, without that dead spot around 4k it used to have
  7. Ecoboost PP (calipers) and rims

I love mine with the 1" spacers. I need new rubber now so ideally I'll get a set of GT PP 19's squared
  8. Keeping her clean

This is a great thread, thanks! I like having a couple of opinions being floated, really helps to show what options are available. It makes sense to do a deeper cut where the damage is, then a lighter cut elsewhere. Either way I'm definitely going with a proper coating. Having only waxed my...
  9. Keeping her clean

I was going to start a new thread, but it seems relevant to the conversation. Patrick - I hope you chime in as you seem to have a handle on this, as well as experience with the Texas climate. I've done every single wash on my car since new. Rinseless preferably, two bucket if extra dirty...
  10. Keeping her clean

Do it like normal. Soap, rinse, dry if you can. Don't use the wax. All you are trying to do now is keep contaminants off until you've got the gear to do a proper job
  11. Keeping her clean

I'd take it to a car wash and pressure wash it. Just don't use the foaming brush! You can get most of what you need at AutoZone though, or Amazon prime.
  12. Radar Detectors

Here is mine. Just a regular Cobra, but its saved my ass a bunch of times. Houston has a lot of X band radars so it does the trick.
  13. Ford Racing ProCal Tune

Keep your tube installed and find a tech to sign off on it.
  14. Catback exhaust turbo spool

It was the CAI that made the most difference to turbo noise. The catback provides a nice deep exhaust note.
  15. Keeping her clean

Or get some rinsless wash and learn how to do that. Perfect for garage kept vehicles. I only use full soap and suds if she us real dirty, with two buckets. Otherwise I get better, faster results with rinsless
  16. EcoBoost and exhaust soot

Never heard of Jet Seal, might give that a try. I was just planning to switch out for black tips. I've got a dedicated soot rag for the time being.
  17. Re-look at the Eco-Boost

37mpg? I've never done better than 23. But I've only got 2 speeds... Edit: I missed the part where you got that doing 60mph. That is substantially lower than my usual highway speed.
  18. How to monitor your engine on a FP tune?

I picked up this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005NLQAHS/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Well reviewed and works as advertised.
  19. How to monitor your engine on a FP tune?

And get the Schoshe magnetic mount for your phone. Solid mount that looks great.
  20. How to monitor your engine on a FP tune?

I was looking at the nGauge for monitoring, but couldn't justify the price.
