Anyone know of a better way to get them besides through the parts dept.? I need it for a small project I have in mind, but the cost for just the roof portion is ~$500-600.
Someone mentioned pricing out the whole kit, it comes out to about $4500. There has to be a way to get OEM stripes, it...
All the awards the GT350/R are winning just proves one thing: You don't have to be the fastest to be the best. That a lot of us still care about having a manual transmission, and an NA motor. Jamal and his team poured their heart and soul into the car, and it shows.
They went against the grain...
Costs will be somewhat similar. I would have gone with enclosed transport, but the shipping company said 7-14 days to pick up the car, and I'm guessing at least another week to arrive. Don't really want the car to sit at the dealer for that long either
Which would you guys do? Car will...
Is anyone else interested in this? Maybe we can get something going. Would love to get black chrome/gloss black Cobra/GT350 side emblems.
Otherwise, I think plasti-dip is the only option to black out the emblems.
Never was a fan of stripes, but stripes go with this car like burger and fries. With that being said, do you mind the extra care involved every day?
Long term wise, when time comes for removal of the stripes for discoloration or just getting old and worn, there's some horror stories about...

With the MY2017 details coming out, it's become apparent that I need to get my hands on a 2016 Base before it's too late.
Does anyone know of/have any open allocations on an MSRP deal, preferably something closer to the West Coast? My end goal is to get the latest MY2016 delivery date...
Since I want an MSRP deal, I think I might have to plan this out a bit. Looking for an September or later delivery date, and a local dealer if possible. Local as in anywhere in CA. The closer to Silicon Valley, the better.
Is that even a possibility right now considering most owners in CA are...
Please post more pics of your cars. I am addicted to it, and no matter how many pictures I see, I want to see more. Especially post your car it if it's white, black, orange, red, grey(both), yellow, or blue.
So to all you owners out there, feel free to litter this forum with pictures...
Is there a reason why you chose a $700 option as opposed to just putting black vinyl over it for ~$100? Was it convenience? I think that's a great way to save ~$600, and when it gets ugly in a few years, you can have a brand spanking new one on top. And you can switch back to the original color...
Is anyone planning to put in extra security features? I put in a Ravelco in my last new car after I had one of my cars stolen. Downside is its unsightly, and relatively bulky.
Is this a car you plan to hold you down till the next hot thing comes out, or something that is being given serious consideration for being kept for as long as possible?
I'm looking at 99.9% of the cars on the road, and they do absolutely nothing for me now. Like soulless machines made solely to get from A to B, nothing more. To just be transportation. From Toyota's to Benz's. Save for seeing a supercar, all the cars on the road look the same to me now: Boring.
I was thinking about keeping both my '13 Accord, and the GT350. I do want the GT350 as a car I keep for as long as I live, so I don't want too much wear and tear on it, but then again I am spending $3-4k on a full car clear bra to protect the paint.
Since I never planned on selling my car...
Is anyone else planning on doing this? I was hoping the GT350 on the sides were not aligned with holes in the fender like the 5.0 emblems on the GT. I want my car to look as clean and stealth as possible. If the Cobra emblems aren't removable, I'll at least black them out somehow.
Always been a huge fan of NA engines. There aren't any special engines that are affordable to the masses. Turbocharging and supercharging are guaranteed to be there in the future.
To me, there's nothing special about FI engines, everyone and their momma is doing it and driving one. I don't...
