Yeah, I've had some fairly loud exhausts in the past so my tolerance and what I deem as "too loud" might be different than others. I do however have a low tolerance for drone and rasp.

Well loud is subjective, is it an obnoxious loud? I just don't want I come off as "fast n furious" in the office parking lol

I was in the market for an exhaust and was considering mbrp street or roush axle back +h pipe but then I saw that SOLO makes a system for the Mustang and I knew it needed a second look. I'm very familiar with solo and the modular designs they have for cars and the quality is top notch. After...
I've gone through maybe 4 hours of sound clips on youtube and they all sound amazing to me lol. Even the stupid loud ones that i'd never DD sound glorious!
I'm in the process of selling parts from my subaru to fund my mod "habit" (read: addiction) so i want to stretch this as much as i can...
I used G4 paint on the past 3 cars with amazing results. Had it on my Infiniti's brembos for 4 + yrs without any chips.

I'm fairly new, only 3 weeks in but so far I have absolutely no buyer's remorse for a purchase that was quite spontaneous for me (a solid week's worth of research and haggling).
The only thing I wonder about is the performance package but honestly other than the brembos there's nothing I'd...
haha, awesome experience. That pretty much sums up my feelings when i got into my 16 Premium. I was perfectly content with my WRX hatch and we were there initially to look at explorers for my wife. As i sat there i saw a GT just staring me down, i walk up start kicking tires and the dealer walks...
First Mustang I personally owned, we had a 40th anniv. Mustang (total POS). It's not my first American car. My first car was an 82 lincoln town car followed by 1 KDM and 5 JDM cars (previous brands: Hyundai, Honda, Acura, Infiniti, Subaru)
The overwhelming majority has been positive, there are seasoned techs (Ford techs as well) that have chimed in on this being perfectly fine and this mechanism being added solely for the purpose of making it easier for everyone to drive (global standards).

I was kind of worried about this whole "slop" after reading 30 pages but there is Literally no slop. Is it as stiff as without the spring, no because you don't have 200lbs pushing back on it but it in comparison to my the last 4-5 manuals, this one has the least amount of play. I'm still getting...
Oh my!!! Let me be the 90th person to say "what the friggin hell were they thinking!" This is how it should have been stock. Clean and concise engagement feel, none of that guessing and bogging. Do yourself a favor and yank that out. I don't have any play in the pedal or any slop. My last 4...
Thump is present in mine as well. 2016 GT with 230 miles bought brand new. I did have something similar in my last RWD (g35 coupe) but not in my previous Subaru. I though it was just me but turns out it's a thing. Oh well, these cars appear to be pretty darn robust so i'm not worried.
Another...
It's nice to see a nice mix of car enthusiasts on here. The Subaru's appeal is not necessarily the looks. It looks rough and rugged and definitely off beat. In the 11+wrx 08+ STi the wide(r) body definitely ups the aggressive undertones of the design but it's not a "good looking" car per se...
One thing I did notice is that the majority of the Mustang owners I ran into on the road are jack asses lol. I got cut off by two and waved at one other and they just sped off lol. I guess that's a subie thing.
