  1. 2018 P2119 Code on Whipple

I replaced the gasket with the RTV silicone sealant, since when I have not had the issue again. However, my Stage 2 Whiple was installed by a garage and while removing the TB I noticed the four bolts did not seem to be evenly torqued-up. I have torqued all four bolts, in an 'X' pattern, to...
  2. Lotus Emira, stunning

The excitement in your post, is tangible. I can see the attraction. I hope it works out for you. Good luck. Keep us posted! :)
  3. What did you do to your UK S550 Mustang Today

After discovering an issue with the exhaust. I had a Mishimoto H-Pipe installed. I was lucky JW Racing had some in stock  https://www.j-w-racing.co.uk/ Especially big thanks to the guys at Modurstang, for installing it! I'd happily recommend Modurstang. https://www.modurstang.co.uk/...
  4. Ford Dealer Damaged My Car - Bristol Street Ford Worcester

You did indeed, go you! They say imitation is a form of flattery :sunglasses: Go on then, what exactly does Ford forbid a non Ford store from dealing with, under warranty?
  5. Ford Dealer Damaged My Car - Bristol Street Ford Worcester

I did use the acronym "ime" in my post and Jacksons have carried out all the servicing and warranty work on my GT. It's a real pisser folk get poor service from a dealership and as we know, these issues are not restricted to just Ford's dealer network.
  6. Ford Dealer Damaged My Car - Bristol Street Ford Worcester

Slightly bemused by folk who have a poor experience with a dealership. Then they go back. What was that thing about repeating something & expecting a different outcome?? Jacksons Ford, Henley in Arden have been good, ime. They're not local to me, but how far would one travel to engage a good...
  7. 2018 P2119 Code on Whipple

Thanks for confirming. Will replace the gasket with the sealant then. Hopefully that will fix the issue. Cheers! :like:
  8. Roush Stage 2 Supercharger for 2017 GT - Anyone used the Roush Calibration in UK?

Glad you've made progress. Thanks for the update. :like: +1 For Guy & Phil @Nemesis. They're good lads.
  9. Reliable Mustang Tuners ?

From personal experience, I would strongly recommend asking the tuner if they can/will tune for a GPF/OPF exhaust, before engaging any of them for tuning work. U.S. tuners appear to be able to handle CAT exhausts, but obviously, the OPF restricts the exit of exhaust gases, more than the CAT...
  10. Roush Stage 2 Supercharger for 2017 GT - Anyone used the Roush Calibration in UK?

@The_Fireball Interesting up date. I can't help with your issue. But would be good to know how going FI has worked out for you, so far. :like:
  11. New GT, some questions

Congrats on becoming a Mustang owner. Car looks great. I agree with Tin O'spam. I've had a Ghost II installed and it's a f*@#ing pain in the ass. I get the engine light, like every 3rd start. I'm almost at the point of ripping the thing out of my car! I'd suggest you consider an...
  12. Show me Your Mach 1's UK !!!

The car looks great! :like: Oh! Err, good luck with that! More than a year after taking my car to MAP, I'm still finding bad stuff. Just yesterday I found the wiring harness leading to the throttle body actuator, was pinched against the engine & had crushed the protective tubing. I looked at...
  13. Exhaust Mode Selection Not Available

I view this type of situation as a bit of a grey area, which could be debated, either way. My personal, general approach is if whatever I've changed on my car has resulted in something failing. Then that is on me. However, if something fails, which isn't directly relatable to a mod. Then I go...
  14. 2018 P2119 Code on Whipple

Hi. Just found this thread after getting home from a heart stopping, engine shut down, during a pull. I got the orange wrench above the fuel gauge and the P2119 DTC. For clarification, are folk replacing the gasket with JB weld or adding JB weld to the gasket in the joint?
  15. Grabber Lime 2020 GT Build Thread

Great looking Mustang there! :like: The Silver wheels really make a significant visual impact. I have silver P6GRs on my GT. Love it!
  16. Considering H-Pipe + Active Exhaust

As I understand it; I believe U.S. GTs, are fitted with CATs, so there's still some obstruction in the exhaust, which will effect sound. Where as my, U.K. 19MY GT has a CAT with integrated OPF (refered to as a GPF in the U.S.) filter, assembly. It still looks like a large can in the exhaust...
  17. Bank holiday weekend

Trip to the coast yesterday. I suspect there may be one, orange, Lambo Huracán owner, now considering a twin turbo kit.... :giggle:
  18. Bank holiday weekend

Apparently, that black, ribbed, hydraulic clutch line, is integral to the CMC. So when we saw fluid leaking from that union/joint. It meant the CMC had to be replaced. Going to visually monitor it now, ie, no touching it. But hopefully, it's all good now.
  19. Bank holiday weekend

Oil change, last week. Then thanks to this; And one new clutch master cylinder later. I've decided to head out on a longer run, to the coast, one day during the BHW. But the GT needs a wash, first.
  20. Grabber Lime 2020 GT Build Thread

Good point, heat cycling could well make it more difficult to remove later. However, with the vanity mirror, it's an insert and I suspect, modular. Ford may have Pokey-Oaked the cassette carrying the mirror glass and lenses, but I didn't see anything obvious, when I removed my pass-side SV...
