IIRC, wasn't there a 15-17MY owner on here who fitted a GT350 front end to a RHD, white S550?
Might be worth looking for that thread.
If I were doing this, I would try to source OEM 15-17MY GT350 wings and bumper from Ford.
I would also look to see if the GT350/GT500 was sold in any European...
Hi.
Seasons greetings to all, I hope you're enjoying the holidays.
Got an issue with the car, had it a while now.
Slowly turning left, off the drive into the road, I hear one or two knocks from the N/S rear, happens everytime.
I took it to the dealer earlier this year, I reproduced it for...
This photo is worth adding just for a laugh, 'smiles per gallon' is a term that I hear quite often ... :giggle:
WD :like:
City driving sucks!....
You're spot on there. Removing the rear quarter would have been the very last resort.
I'm just grateful I had the luck to find a good service provider.
Waiting to get the car back from paint now.
I don't mean to piss on anyone's parade...
In 2019 I had a Ghost II fitted to my GT after an RS focus owning associate nagged me not to fit a pandora system and get the Ghost II (I do not have, nor have I ever had a Pandora system).
Straight away the Ghost II threw PCM error codes, which cost...
Absolutely.
In the unfortunate event of the unthinkable happening, it's useful if someone can recommend a process or a person/company which can help and does work worthy of recommendation.
Cheers.

Not a Ford franchise dealer/workshop.
An independent with equipment and access to the Ford systems for CAN work.
That's all I can say for now.
Last year, a garage tasked with carrying out some CANSys work on my car, thought they'd include damaging the body work, into the bargain.
A really nasty dent.
I won't name the company, at this stage, but at no time did the company which damaged my car apologize or show even the slightest...
Good advice.
I had to learn (The hard way) that Dashcams are not just for the geeks and while I object to the aesthetics, in my experience DCs are now an essential for driving in the U.K.
Sadly.
Good luck with tidying up the final issues with the car.
Summer will soon be here and you'll be...
Consider, that for each path you take in life, most likey, someone else has already walked it.
Therefore:
" He who does not observe history, is doomed to repeat it ".
There are a few layout issues with the latest plan you've posted, but I'm sure you'll sort it.
Good luck.
That does sound very straight forward. If you have legal cover included in your insurance policy, refer it to the legal team. If not, hire a solicitor to fight the dispute, ensuring their insurer pays the fees, your excess, time off work, etc. Very frustrating to read an insurer disputing...
@raptor17GT
That's grim, bad enough an imbecile drives into your car (To try to excuse the impact by them expecting car in front of them to run a red light, should warrant license suspension and re-test), but to have it then delivered to clown-world for repair only exacerbates the issue.
Has...
Well, there's the rub, it ain't " budget " motoring, at ÂŁ5 per litre.
As most will know, there's a lot of money, cash and finance, tied up in ICE cars, so to have them all become worthless for a lack of fuel, seems to be a good motivator.
One very relevant advantage I didn't hear explicitly...
Just the messenger, I've no doubt some of you have already seen this, including Klauss...

I know what you mean. Recalling when the trailer wheels ripped past my window as this MoFo cut me off and I'm sitting there trapped in a car which is being crushed inches from me, by a " C you next Tuesday ", lorry driver. I too, wished I hadn't been there.
A good point, it's another of those first world problems, that crop up for me, from time to time.
AFAIK, nobody was injured..... I wasn't present when it happened :punch:
Absolutely. My car was parked in a yard awaiting work and was hit by what, I've yet to find out.
I've contacted the company to speak with the boss and begin the long and complicated process of repair. I gave my contact details and whad'ya know, no return call.
My opinion being that the damage...
@raptor17GT
I sympathize with your situation, especially now, as last week, an incompetent, imbecile, piece of shit, has reshaped my car.
The company responsible for that, has " agreed " to meet the costs, but is still going to get it's own quote...
I'll take them at their word for now...
