Early 2020 CFTP cars had them in the trunk. I believe it was job two cars that came with them actually installed. 2020 HP cars did not get them. 2021 HP, CFHP & CFTP cars should arrive with them installed.
Ford had conflicting info regarding the adjustable camber plates for the handling package cars. In the end, the plates were NOT included for the 2020 HP cars. This has been corrected for 2021 and the plates are now included. The ownerās kit will arrive at your residence 1-2 months after buying...
Funny Earl!
We ship car parts, but not cars. I guess I could always disassemble it, ship and reassemble at the other end!
I can fly for free... my car... not so much!
There are a couple dates this month at Eagles Canyon in the works. The 13th and the 20th. If the 20th happens, I should be there. Iād love to meet-up at a track day. Holler when you are going!
I did the specs in the manual:
You are going to have a BLAST! Youāll find quite the difference between your 14 and 20 on the track. First off, the IRS and magneride will inspire confidence, especially in the turns and while hitting bumps. The other amazing aspect is the car is basically āheat proofā in stock form. There is...
Some firsts! This was my 5th track day overall, but first time running solo! The other sessions have all been lead/follow. This was also my 1st time at this track. We ran the 1.7 mile loop CCW during a private track rental by invite only. I had instructors in-car for the first 3 sessions...
Ahhh, I misunderstood the combo thing. As for my low radar detector, Iām in flat TX... no issues... plus I also run Waze.
Funny! š Yes, I live in the DFW area. You must be a good leaf reader!š
Good stuff! I havenāt noticed any rattling yet with their latest X version, but I watch for it.
Thanks guys!
A combo dash cam/radar detector sounds lovely on paper, but the downside of combining tech is when one fails or goes obsolete, it renders the package useless.
I looked at a few compare/contrast videos on various dash cams online and opted for the Blackvue setup. I've only driven the car a few times with it installed, but so far, I am quite pleased with it... it's a nice setup. I like having it hardwired and running while driving and parked.
In this video, I show a step-by-step DIY hardwire install of Blackvue's DR900X-2CH dash cam on my 2020 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 Carbon Fiber Track Pack. I take you out for daytime and nighttime drives to see how the dash cam operates. I also show the phone app interface and give my review of...
I have PPF on the front fascia, hood, front fenders, mirrors, A-pillars, roof, wing and wheels. The entire car has a quarts coating.
Anything other than dust gets washed off. My cars normally only come out on fair weather days. My 2000 Cobra R has never been washed. It has only received a...
Mine stays out all of the time. The only water wash my car sees is on the wheels/tires and grille. The rest gets a duster and detail spray. I put sticky Velcro on my rain tray and put it in the trunk along with the hardware and tool kit just in case I am ever out and need to reinstall it for...
Logic tells me that under-hood pressures would be higher with the tray in. This would creat more wind resistance (drag). Iām not sure this would translate to a difference in the quarter mile, but I suspect you would get to 180 more quickly with the tray removed. Mine has been out since I...
Thank you very kindly! I have tenders on the cars as well as the boat, PWC and lawnmower. After many failed batteries, I finally wised-up!
As mentioned above, the tenders that I bought have a connecting plug with two end leads for options. One has the spring clips and the other has posts holes...
FYI, I permanently installed a tender lead many months ago and have used it every time the car is parked. I went the easy route and hooked it up directly to the battery. There have been zero issues... works great, lasts a long time. So what if it takes the computer time to see the new charge...
