As the title suggests, my 2015 GT premium was just rear-ended by a college girl driving a BMW. I was stopped at a red light and heard screeching tires as she hit me from behind decelerating from 45 mph.
She insisted on paying out of pocket for the damage. I got her phone number, insurance...
Yeah I'm leaning toward that route, I want to show them off without being overly-flashy. Still considering a gunmetal color or something dark. Wish I could find some more pics of a white GT w/ black roof and bronze wheels, all I could find was the one Velgen car.
Interested in picking up a set of the VS02 wheels, do you have any pics of those installed? Also, would two tone paint be an option? (brushed bronze w/ black lip, etc.) Might have to call you with some questions
Does anyone happen to know the weight of the factory 20s?? I think I'm ditching the idea of painting these and may sell them and go aftermarket. If I were to purchase a set of new wheels, I would definitely want them to be lighter than the OEM wheels.
Never thought choosing a wheel color would be so nauseating! My powder coating guy said it is not possible for him to do 2 different colors on one wheel. I agree painting the whole wheel black would take away too much character from the wheel and make it boring. Went to a custom shop (who always...
How odd... after posting that I also thought of doing that with bronze and black. May have found a winner! Now I'm just hoping this is possible to powdercoat two different colors on one wheel! Anyone know if that type of thing can be done?
Thanks everyone for input! I will be having this done...
Just came up with an interesting idea and tried to photoshop it... what if I leave the inner portions of the wheel stock oem paint and powdercoat the brighter aluminum outside lip and spokes black?? I think it'll look pretty sweet I'm going to ask my powder coat guy if this would even be...
I really like the look of the dark bronze! Just learned how hard it is to photoshop black wheels.... but man oh man do I like this look. Just don't know if it's worth having to wash 24/7. I would have the pony emblems painted white to match the body. IF I were to go black, what would be best...
Maybe you're right, Cascadia. Maybe I should just go ahead and wrap my roof and heat extractors and then decide if the wheel color should be changed. I'm most likely just going to end up getting new aftermarket wheels later down the road anyway.
I attempted to photoshop some bronze onto the...
I like the aluminum look for now but I just think it will look unfitting once I wrap my roof and heat extractors black and get the gloss black gt350 track pack spoiler installed. I think I narrowed it down to either bronze, gloss black, or a dark gunmetal. Waiting on a photoshop request to get a...
I was originally going to do gloss black to match my wrapped roof and call it a day, but after running into some photos online I think I may be interested in a gloss or matte bronze finish. This photoshoot of a white lambo especially inspired me...
Could someone attempt to photoshop the color of my wheels to gloss black or bronze? trying to figure out which color to have them powder coated. Thanks!
As the title states, I'm looking for opinions on what color to have my factory 20's powder coated. FYI- the roof and heat extractors are going to be wrapped gloss black, and I'm also thinking about adding some white tire lettering.
Thanks for any input!
Sorry for the late response, I did not do my own install as this install was above my level of car audio expertise (plus way too much labor) and I wanted it done right. I can tell you that the 363 has integrated nicely with the factory radio and it's getting a very clean signal. We used all new...
