I think I saw an exhaust setup on youtube a while back (convertible, hellion kit) that had dumps before the cats. It's a pretty clever idea, although couldn't that cause some sort of ill-effects? (flame shooting, etc?).
Anyway, I am 95% set on going with the hellion sleeper kit. Nothing...
That sounds pretty amazing. Warm start I'm guessing? Do you have a part number or link for that borla resonator? I've been looking for a 3inch in/3 inch out resonator. Looks like the borla is 2.25/2.5 oval shaped, which may create problems getting it to work with the Corsa sport catback. So far...
This is really great info. It's just tough making a decision like this without being able to hear what it would sound like in real life. The noise and smell are the only factors that concern me when deciding on a catless SC setup. If the borla resonator and tuning tweaks can fix those concerns...
Never did too much research on LPF but it looks like a good potential option. The 2 quotes I got for TT installs included labor, parts, and tax. Oil pump gears and crank sprocket install is also included. One shop made it seem like I had to get a circle D converter and fuel system, which is why...
I just got done reading about green cat failure as well... This is good info. I don't mind a little bit louder, I just don't want embarrassingly loud cold starts in the morning because I have close neighbors. How is the exhaust smell without cats? Do people ever comment about it when behind the...
You're correct, it does require replacing the factory cats however the turbo headers are included in the turbo kit. I don't mind not having cats, but I do care about the volume. Turbo without cats will always be quieter than SC without cats as far as I'm concerned
I'm starting to consider going with a Whipple and running stock cats. I just hope there would be evidence of cat failure before it leads to any engine issues. I don't really care as much if the cats fail, I'll just accept having a loud car. However if they fail and go unnoticed for a while...
After years of lurking the forums and endless research, I have decided to go with forced induction for my 2015 Mustang GT (20,000 miles on it). One thing I notice is most people do NOT run catalytic converters with their supercharged S550. This obviously makes the car very loud, which I am not a...
Selling this pair that came off my 2015 Mustang GT (Oxford white) at around 10,000 miles. They are in pristine condition. Located near Clearwater, FL for those who want to pickup for $50. Willing to ship the pair for $60.
Do you have the stock resonator? Or did you originally have a corsa extreme catback, and now you’re just switching to sport mufflers? I’m curious to see how this will sound, those are the most appealing headers to me at the moment
Wow, we have the same exact car lol.
2015 GT premium, foundry 20 inch oem wheels with pilot sport 4S tires, auto trans, and corsa sport catback exhaust. Nice taste!
I’m also planning on forced induction and have been researching headers to avoid any damage from boost.
I’ve actaully...
I just purchased a pair of OEM black heat extractors to install on my '15 white GT, but have been unable to find out how to install them. Could anyone help me out? Videos would be most helpful but if you could just name the tools or hardware needed for install I can probably figure it out. These...
Thanks man appreciate it! And personally I wouldn't recommend that tint combo, that's actually the exact setup I had on my previous BMW 3 series and it was DARK. Might depend on where you live and what hours you normally drive but I was pulled over twice (ticketed once) exclusively for the...
Very nice! I love the white/red/black combo which is why I decided to wrap my roof and get the red 5.0 emblem/red calipers. I also tinted my windshield a bit
Heres some pics of the roof
Nope. Figured I would save up some cash and go with some aftermarket wheels to reduce a lot of weight. I'm thinking about trying out some VS Forged wheels.
Does anyone here know anything about VS Forged? I've only seen like one mustang with them so far... Priced competitively for fully forged...
I have an update for everyone but first I’ll start by answering some of the questions asked.
“Are your tail lights tinted with vinyl film?”
Yes they are, I got them from Anchor Room and installed them myself over a year ago. Still look good.
“Is she hot?”
Not really by my...
I was able to snap one photo of her car close to mine after the accident. She has been texting me saying "it's a long story but I don't want to go through insurance." It does seem fishy... Where should I go for a quality repair? Any recommendations? I guess I will get a quote and go from there.
