I am no expert, but I would be worried about registering it in my name before it came in to the dealer in case the picture above happened!! Who would own the car at that point? Technically it would be the registered owner.

They can't pre-register if the car is not in the country. Well that's what my dealer said.... And it makes sense.

Thanks Gibbo, I will go for the CB 005 only then. Anything else I should add (I am doing Roush Axle Back, and Steeda Progressive Sport springs) to help the handling? I do want to keep it comfortable though very much GT rather than go kart ride.

I am definitely getting the CB005, as Gibbo was highlighting I was concerned by adding this it may be too stiff? Then give added vibration and noise?

If the clutch sensor/switch is failing it might be the 'back up' (i.e. brake pedal as well) that is required so the car can start if just one sensor starts to fail? Having said that I guess they would not think of that... probably just an electronic gremlin!!

Sometimes, depending on your age, adding a named driver who is older (mum or dad) with clean licence for years really brings the cost down, admittedly its also depends on your age (saved £800 on my daughters by adding my wife and me as named drivers over not having us on her insurance).

FWIW, Spoilers are designed to 'Spoil' the airflow to reduce drag and therefore increase fuel efficiency. When they are shaped for design benefit they actually increase drag but aim to look cool!! As soon as the add down force they add drag.... not what Spoilers are designed to do!!
