I would agree. Saw it on the lot from the street while stoped at a light. Made the turn and then turned straight into the lot. Two to three hours later I drove her home
  2. installing a rear big brake kit

Just drove the car up to, around and back down the arrowhead mountain area. Brakes did great. I will call this a good mod for the S550. If anyone has any questions on this please let me know.
  3. Why Would Anyone Do This Autozone BS?

Cars, especially Mustangs are very personal. Let people customize them to their own taste. If I don't like what they did I just dont give the car a 2nd look.
  4. How do you guys actually keep track of everything done to your car?

I am a member of trackmustangsonline.com and they provide a page that you can list all the mods you have done on your mustang. They also have a link to a 3d data reader, (see attached). I also use a spreadsheet for all maintenance and repair records.

  6. Spacer question.

no problem. If you want the best fitting bolt on spacer that wont require drilling the rims. Then use a 23 mm min spacer https://www.fitmentindustries.com/store/spacers/169485/aluminum-23mm-bolt-on-bora-spacer?year=2015&make=Ford&model=Mustang&trim=GT&drive=RWD
  7. Spacer question.

Just a plain 9/16 and 5/8 drill bit. Mark the spot you want to drill with a center punch in order to reduce the chance of drill walk.
  8. Spacer question.

I actually used a hand held drill. All you are going to do is drill out enough material to allow clearance. Start by putting some paint on the tip of the wheel studs and reinstall them. Then remove the wheel and the paint will transfer to the spots that will be drill. Start with the 9/16 and...
  9. Recaro Seat Repair advice

Back when I had a S2000 The driver side bolster broke down pretty bad by my fat butt sliding across it for several years. something you should consider. A 4 and 5 point harness will keep you in a locked position. which means that in a forward hit your head will move a lot more than your body. That is how neck injuries happen. So if you are going to use a 4 or 5 point system then you should use a neck support...
  12. Frame rails

here is my end game. I have built a set of full length ramps that my car sits on all the time, (Video shown). I store my quick jacks under the car. I remove the center of the full length ramps and slide the quick jacks into position to jack up the car. Last weekend I was under the car and...
  13. Frame rails

So not on the rear section closer to the fuel tank splash guard? I am looking to place my quick jacks along the frame rails with a flat board to level out the weight across the rails to remove my current pinch weld jacking rails.

  16. Brembo caliper bridge bolt size ?

if all you are going to do is bed the brakes why not just slide a socket head bolt and nut that is a slip fit, and bed the brakes. I have done worse. But I must say I wouldn't drive it too much that way.
