  1. Lack of pops and burbles on overrun - Normal for a Mach 1?

Good information to have. Thanks, Gents!
  2. Lack of pops and burbles on overrun - Normal for a Mach 1?

I'm actually in the process of installing a Wengerd 93 tune on this car, which is a small reason for me gathering this information in the first place. Thanks for the responses!
  3. Lack of pops and burbles on overrun - Normal for a Mach 1?

Coming from a 22 GT PP with the Auto trans, I'm just wondering if what I'm hearing on my newish Mach 1 is normal. The GT had settings in the tune (I assume) that gave more aggressive sounds and a mild burble on overrun when in Sport+ and Track modes. The previous owner put a tune on this Mach 1...
  4. Which brake fluid for track? Owners supplement says NO silicone

Thanks for the first hand info. Summit Point Main and VIR are still on my list for this year, but free weekends are always hard to find. I have 2 days scheduled next month at Watkins Glen though so pretty stoked for that.
  5. Which brake fluid for track? Owners supplement says NO silicone

@WItoTX @honeybadger Resurrecting this thread to ask: Have you guys encountered any issues using SRF as far as clutch seals? Kevin I know your car has gone through some significant mutations so maybe this doesn't even apply to yours anymore... I read on here and TMO about some folks warning...
  6. Track day #3 with my Mach 1

Yes, the tracks/organizations that I've run on in the US make you keep the windows down. I would think it's mostly for point by's. From what I've seen of Nurburgring videos, it seems like they prefer blinkers for passing in Europe.
  7. Track day #3 with my Mach 1

I'm jealous. Can't wait to get back out there now that the winter is behind us in the Northeast. What size wheels/tires and alignment settings are you running?
  8. What difference does the Gurney flap make as far as downforce and cornering? And at what speeds is it most effective?

I asked a similar question over on track mustangs a while back and here's the response from an actual Ford engineer: That "swing" as we called it internally (spoiler / wing hybrid), along with the GT350R and GT500 CFTP wings are the only ones that actually provide downforce on the Mustang...
  9. Removing the CFTP camber plate screw pins

From someone that just picked up a Mach 1 with these camber plates, this post was golden. Thanks!
  10. A number of questions for fellow MACH 1 track folks.daily driver+ road track related to upkeep and safety, etc.

@Noleftist are you running the HOTH event at Summit Point? I'm signed up for that but not sure I will be able to make it there now, unfortunately.
  11. Looking for help finding/installing OEM Mach 1 HP Rear Sway Bar

Thank you, Benny! @LevittownFordParts Can I send you a PM to help assemble a care package of parts?
  12. Looking for help finding/installing OEM Mach 1 HP Rear Sway Bar

I am aware of the adjustability, but there is no information that I can find on Steeda's website as far as the bar rates. For their competition bar, they state that it is "Up to 39% softer than our standard rear sway bars" but there are no numbers for that standard bar. I reached out to them to...
  13. Looking for help finding/installing OEM Mach 1 HP Rear Sway Bar

Yeah I'm not too concerned about fitment, but would just like to verify that it is the originally equipped option before I purchase one. I reached out to FP to confirm. I do plan to track the car and would like to start from the stock HP sway bar and bushings. If it were the Steeda competition...
  14. Looking for help finding/installing OEM Mach 1 HP Rear Sway Bar

Can anyone confirm the correct part number for the rear sway bar on a 2022 Mach 1 with the Handling Package? Some of the parts websites make it confusing to verify. One member on here purchased the part for his base Mach 1 and stated the part number is: JR3Z-5A772-A but this turns up a...
  15. Post Your Mach 1 Pictures

New to me 2022 FJG HP Mach 1
  16. Found a 2023 M1 w/HP FJG...less than 3K on it. Should have it in a week.

Much like you, I just found a 22 MACH 1 HP in FJG with every possible option on it and I love it. The previous owner invested a lot of money in it and it has Stainles Works headers with high flow cats and an X-pipe. My previous GT had a Roush H-Pipe and I loved it. I also love the sound of this...
  17. Should my 2023 Mustang Mach 1 come with an OEM tow hook?

I just bought a 2022 Mach 1 off a guy. It should be in the trunk under the tire inflation kit (mine was). I just learned that from someone else on this forum. This is also stated in the Owner's Manual Supplement under: Roadside Emergencies - Towing Points
  18. My Wengerd Experience

Just here to echo your sentiments as my car was 93 tuned by @Wengerd Performance. I have no major engine modifications (carbon trap removal, drop in filter, resonator delete H-pipe) but was looking to get the 10 speed shifting sorted out a bit. Have used it for two track days now since the tune...
  19. 10” vs 11” track wheels

A lot of times it also comes down to what's available and the difference in manufacturing sizes. This has been discussed a lot on various threads and forums but one manufacturer's 285 width may be the same or smaller than a different manufacturer's 275 width. I was between Hankook RS4 and...
  20. 10” vs 11” track wheels

@sachmo133 This is much later but just wondering what you ended up going with for your setup? I currently track a 10" square setup with Supercar 3's and have no complaints at all. Along with the FP track dampers, BMR handling springs, camber plates, and a better alignment the car is very...
