You will not get close to a V8 because you're missing 2 cylinders. I was like you, in search on deep tone (V8-ish), no drone sound. It's just not going to happen so accept the reality early.
What you will gain is a pretty damn good V6 sound (check out V6 sound compilations on YouTube as this is...
True. I mean I bought them for a reason, just kind of sucks that I put them on "too early". I had all seasons on on my 051A 18"s, so I just swapped the tire. I wasn't concerned with wearing my all seasons down.
Ugh... Well that's the thing too - I don't unplug my mp3 player from AUX. It's always plugged in, but on start up the stereo goes to FM anyways. Some times it stays in AUX, so I got that going for me...
2015 V6 051A, so base stereo and cloth seats.
1) My driver seat creaks every time I get in. It sometimes creaks on bumps. I can easily reproduce the creaking by "leaning" into the seat. Is this something I can address with my dealer or is it a lost cause?
2) This is starting to get on my...
Thank you. I also got a response from Nick@DD:
"The 4th Brake and Sequencer are perfectly compatible, you just have to install them in the correct order
Vehicle-side plug > 4th Brake > Sequencer > Tail Light Connector
The H11 fog lights will fit non-LED fog light equipped Mustangs" (so...
Hello,
Does anyone know if there is any issue running these 2 together? In the videos they seem to be using similar connectors, so I am not sure if I can run both at the same time.

I don't think there are any aftermarket double dins that are available yet, but installing sub/amp shouldn't be a problem. Either use the search tool or go to your local shop.
Axleback. I couldn't justify spending next to $2k on a catback (US to CAD fucking sucks). Besides, I'm not after performance at this time, just sound. I realize pipe diameter increase helps the sound, but it's too pricey.
I was going to install stock GT catback on my V6 > buy GT Borla...
I really like them. It's a nice deep-ish tone till about 3k/3.5k rpm and then it just starts screaming. Hard to describe in words. I've been trying to record a video of it for a while, need to get on that. I'll try to do it this weekend.
Axle-backs will sound different between s197 and s550...
- Very subjective, but based on your preference Borla S-Type is the way to go. I personally went for ATAKs.
- I believe you need a tune for it (at least on V8 you do from what I heard). I just bought a K&N drop in filter that replaced the stock foam.
- Anything is possible if you have...
Honestly, drone levels are very subjective. I have Borla ATAKs which supposed to have little drone, but I think they do. My V8 buddy with magnaflows laughed at me when I showed him my 'drone'.
- Roush is loud, raspy and a bit drony
- Outlaw is loud, deep and really drony
- Borla (ATAK) is loud...
Thank you guys for your suggestions.
If I were to go with 19x10 275/40/19 this wouldn't fill up the well as good as 20s with 35 sidewall would correct? As I mentioned earlier, the car will almost certainly will stay stock height and I'm more about aesthetics.
Definitely a positive for 19s is...
That actually looks pretty good and I might just have to settle for 20s. The reason I say settle is because I do prefer the lowered look, but in my situation it might not be an option.
Edit: what is the rim width/offset do you have? I really like how the back tires are sitting.
