Moot point - you can cache maps via Google Maps or Nokia Here Maps for free. Nokia Here Maps lets you cache a whole state/country - it's free for Android/iOS/Windows Phone(Mobile). Plus, maps on your phone are constantly updated. Typical built-in car nav. systems don't have map update...
Damn, a lot of people are getting GT's! I skipped the 401A as well. If you know a friend that works for Ford, you can get the X-plan pricing. I got my GT Premium OTD in NY for about $33.5k
Yeah, it's the fog light that turns off (not a driving light) but only the fog light the direction you're turning. So, if you're turning left, the left fog light turns off while the right remains off. If you're turning right, the right fog light turns off while the left remains on.
BMW has a history of underrating their cars. Typically the hp figure they provide is close to the power it makes at the wheels. That, and the ZF8 is a MUCH faster shifting auto than what the Mustang has.
As someone said above, the MAJORITY of them are asshole drivers. They are either doing 90+ (saving gas, right?) or doing 20 below the speed limit.
This one image sums up my feelings on Prius/Prii
Agreed salt is nasty. This is going to be my first winter with the Mustang. I have absolutely all the intentions of daily driving it. I wash it everyday on the way home, and clean it in my garage as well. This has worked for my past two cars and keeping them free of rust. I also don't keep my...
F30 335i, sports 8AT. It was the N55 engine with a turbo. Torque was strong from 1200 - 5500 RPM, you basically had about 300 lb-ft at 1200 RPM (BMW number, and they're conservative).
Hmm, never driven an Aston Martin. Yeah, a faster AT would be nice in the Mustang.
It's priced competitively. Think about the Golf R - that starts at about $35.5k, and you get a lot less power (or S3).
Focus RS ~35k estimated
Golf R - $35,650 (less power)
Audi S3 - $42,500 (less power)
Civic RS - ? (current gen. Civic SI coupe starts at $23k), and less power
MB CLA...
Well...I know it's a rumor, but I'll bite. My last car had an 8 speed auto (a ZF8), and it was great compared to the 6AT in the S550. Anyways, when you take off from a dead start, the car will feel like it's always shifting a lot, and that's because it is. At 40 mph you'd be in 8th gear (great...
Have you ever driven a new car with a ZF 8AT? It is leaps and bounds better than than 6AT in the Mustang. The ZF8 is a damn fast non-DCT transmission, and that's what my last car had. The 6AT in the Mustang is quite slow.
As an ex-owner of a F30 335xi, which uses the same exact motor as the 435xi (N55), the GT should be faster from a 40 mph rolling start. You can either get a manual or the ZF8 in the 4 series. I'm guessing your buddy had a ZF8, which for a non-DCT auto transmission, it's a fast shifter. Either...
I don't think Mercedes makes a new car with a manual transmission...You can also get the M3/M4/M5/M6 in a manual or DCT. All new BMW's include in the cost first 4 years of maintenance. Repairs on German cars tend to be a bit more than Ford, but you're also getting a luxury car/status symbol. Two...
I have it loaded up on my flash drive and still need to update my car. It's a regular cheapo $10 flash drive. Just make sure you follow the instructions - it tells you specifically the flash drive must be formatted as FAT32. You can do this within Windows, make sure you backup your contents on...
