Yeah - it sounds pretty wild on cold starts - that is all that I've done to my 18 - FP X pipe - I love cold starts but it is fairly loud.

I couldn't imagine having matte stripes- I went with gloss black - which cleanup nicely with the wax I use (Blackfire.)

I have the 18 GT - with the manual - only way to go. Love it - no problems at all - I just passed 10K miles. Way too much fun.

I don't put too many miles on mine either - makes me love each mile. I think you will appreciate it much more vs it being a commuter car.

Mitigation 2: You pay cash. Others that bought at MSRP and financed - would likely be at MSRP + 15K for the total cost of ownership. So you are likely at level with these folks.
