I probably will. Does anyone know what size rim is needed to clear brakes, etc? The stock rims are 19", will smaller diameter fit and would this give me more sidewall and therefore better traction?
Looking for some relatively inexpensive rims that will fit on the PP cars to use at the drag strip. Don't need to have tires mounted, I can buy new, but if you have a set with drag radials already mounted I'd be open to that too. Anybody have anything?
Anyone have any suggestions for a relatively cheap wheel to mount drag radials on for the track that will fit the PP cars??? I'm not sure I want to daily drive on drag radials.
You were definitely right about track apps, they don't work with 62 pulled. I went to track again this weekend and ended up putting fuse back in cause I wanted to be able to use line lock. I may buy this kit and turn traction control off with it from in car after doing a burnout at track. Might...
You sure about track apps? I know launch control won't fully work but the car does hold the RPM you set it to in launch control even without the fuse. I will try line lock to see if that works. The other ones I don't care too much about.
I am in full agreeance with everything you said regarding buying the FRPP supercharger. I got the Roush because of the warranty and also the fit and finish. In my oppinion it is one of the best looking kits and just looks factory when you pop the hood. Now I just wish I could get it to feel like...
I have this package on my car and think it is a no brainer. I don't know why anyone would get their car without it. Nicer stitching, softer leather, soft touch panels on doors. Makes it very nice. For a $400 option I would almost think Ford would just include it automatically in the Premium...
I would agree if the car was not pulling power. So far I feel like stickier tires would not make it better because I am not getting full power out of the car. It doesn't feel like it is pulling strong until somewhere into 2nd or 3rd gear (not because it is slipping - because the computer is...
Without the supercharger I have seen these cars go 12.8's at my track with exhaust and a tune (stock tires). I would expect 11's out of a supercharged car based on the increase in HP. Best I can do is 12.4 so far. Only picking up 4 tenths doesn't seem right to me.
This was on street tires and unfortunately no, this is in a coupe. I am having all sorts of issues getting the car to not bog down when I try to launch it. This isn't an issue of not launching at a high enough RPM, I believe it to be the clutch protection kicking in. The only run to date that I...
I just got back from the track. The best time I could get so far is 12.400 @ 118.85 mph. This is a PP car with Eibach lowering springs, stock tires, 3.73 rear end gears. I had the best luck using launch control and had it set at 3000 rpm. When I tried to launch the car without launch control it...
I could not find any scratches or chips on it. It did arrive scuffed - looked like rubber shoe marks on the floor. But a little washing and rubbing with a microfiber clothe (no polishing compounded needed) and it looks perfect. I don't have it back on the car yet because I had to get some new...
How much did bumper cover end up costing you? I bought a brand new one already painted (Roush take off) on eBay for $300. Also came with the PP splitter.
Thanks everyone. I'm ok but my ego is hurt a little. Totally my fault and that really pisses me off. I got really lucky though, when it rolled out of my garage there was about 1" clearance on one side between the wall and on other side between my car trailer. Could have scraped down the entire...
