True there.
Although driving a modded Car every day is probably more of a risk than taking it down the track every once in a while in that regard.
Well... unless you’re just a really bad driver (at the track). Lol
I wouldn't use octane booster. Most octane boosters do very little to actually make your octane higher (and could actually cause issues down the road). Maybe by 1 point depending on how many gallons it's mixed into.
Stick with normal 91 fuel. You'll be fine.
Either that or move to...
You'll always have someone upset that everyone doesn't agree with them.
Both cars are great in their own ways. The rivalry of Mustang vs Camaro is what makes the cars even better imo.
Actually an engineer would tell you that a DOHC and OHV are functionally different and that's why smaller displacement can put out similar HP on a 5.0 DOHC engine vs a 6.2 OHV engine. DOHC is more efficient.
Just throwing that out there. ;)
The cars go back and forth on who's quicker over the...
I found the EB Mustang quite fun to drive when I test drove one a while back. I'd love to pick one up as a DD. And I'm sure it's even more fun with the new 10 speed. The GT was also great, however I've always preferred the lower end torque from OHV V8s. But that's just me.
The Camaro's back...
I own a 2SS and I agree with most of this.
The Camaro feels a bit bigger as far as overall however the interior definitely feels tighter. I got the gray interior and, to me, it feels like it opens it up a bit compared to the black leather "cavernous" feel.
The visibility could definitely use...
I definitely agree that some people think that adding something automatically voids everything. I had headers on my 5th gen and brought it in for an issue. Got it fixed up with warranty.
What can I say. I'm an asshole.
I May have went slightly overboard with that one though.
That being said. I do see your point. I'm just saying I've dealt with dealerships pulling bullshit excuses for voiding warranties.
I like how I literally said they would most likely be lenient since it was a Ford part, yet you're still just typing away like you've been bred for weaponized autism.
This argument is over. What do you want? You Win! OK. Great. Gold star. Moving on.
Also my hair is beautiful.
This isn't internet lore. This is real life experience due to issues on cars in the past. GM isn't the only company that has denied warranty claims over non stock parts.
We can beat this up more and you can keep talking about ball sacks if you want because that's somehow related to car parts...
I personally like when someone claims a mod (such as a catch can, cam, headers, tune, etc) doesn't affect your warranty. Because then their car breaks and they bring it to the dealership. And.... If the modded part in question is claimed to be related to the failure? BAM! Denied warranty claim. Then...
You are correct. We may be on the same page more than I thought, but just different way of explaining it. You are correct that they can't void some unrelated part (Like you said, breaks because of an engine mod). And it's more of a denial of claim due to the modded part and not an outright void...
LOL! I almost put that in my reply knowing someone would quote that. Go do some research before claiming that.
Ford CAN void your warranty for aftermarket parts that aren't within OEM spec. And they will. They have. So has Chevy. So has every other car manufacturer. Is it guaranteed that they...
I would think MOST people who buy the PP2 would want to track the car quite frequently. Otherwise why buy it in the first place? Although I see plenty of people DDing SS 1LE Camaros. I don't know how because the ride isn't that comfortable to me. I haven't really seen anyone DDing a ZL1 1LE...
And oh, by the way, it will go into limp mode at the track so buy an aftermarket cooler that may or may not void your warranty. (Although, a lot of people who do track their cars aren't worried about warranties. So that may not be a big deal.)
So basically they're charging $6,500... for...
