I had them on my 2017 CS/GT that we traded for the Mach 1. Took them off before the trade-in. Not sure why they don't fit the 18 and up models but I'm only going off of what the manufacturers say.

The only engine cover that fits over 2017 is the brake master cylinder cover. Not sure why but that is what the companies that made them say. If you are interested in the master cylinder cover, I need a zip code to calculate postage. Steve

Thanks for clarifying. The areas on the front sides of the console are hard plastic panels. Sorry, but when someone starts talking about knee pads in relation to an ad for parts I tend to assume they are referring to something else. Hope this answers your question.
