Is anyone running a Whipple Stage 2 kit with Whipple tune without cats? If so which foulers do you use, I've heard of vibrant and Big Daddy's Garage but unsure which people have run successfully or which is better.
Interesting, I'm wondering if anyone has had similar issues with the Steeda Bushing Inserts. I currently have those and am wondering if I should maybe remove them after I go blower because of this possibly happening on a hard launch.
You bent both front diff bolts with slicks also or on Drag radials? Was curious because I will be launching at the track with a blower sometime in the future.
And Nice time.
I do all of this minus the power shifting, transmission still shifts like new. However, I did change to BG transmission fluid around 8k miles. Just don't force your transmission into gears and you should be fine. I am actually surprised at how this transmission performs. I kind of want to try...
My car has has been abused several with Mexico almost every weekend and 6k RPM clutch dumps at the track. So far at 19K miles and still strong. Only thing I've replaced is the clutch due to my pedal sticking to the floor at high RPMs at time at around 13k miles.
I believe Lethal has taken their...
Try clocking the DS on the rear 180 degrees. Helped me. I checked the angles on my pinion with a magnetic angle finder before clocking and found the angles with the pinion and transmission output(with dss adapter) to be spot on. This led me to clocking the Driveshaft, and it worked wonders
I believe the CJ gives more performance benefits on the dragstrip, but you would have to get either a cowl hood or different motor mounts to lower your engine. The GT350 intake is just an intake swap, you can keep your strut bar even.
I had this issue and I sent my DSS back in and they changed the CV axle. I however did not try to clock it on the diff 180 degrees before sending it back. After i got it back, I reinstalled and still had crazy vibration issues. I clocked it 180 degrees on the diff side and all is well now...
Think I saw you out there that day and spoke to you for a bit! I had the Magnetic Metallic GT on Hoosiers. You were the only other 2015+ Stang on Hoosiers out there!
Haha Thanks. I should be posting videos as soon as my buddy sends them over. A few people asked if I was Roush charged or Auto that day. I take it as a compliment haha. :headbang:
Thanks I went out again today and ran some better times.
Same tune, just different day. The DA was 2300. I let the car cool down a bit more in between runs.
I'm hoping the race flex tune helps out a bit.
I went out to the quarter mile for the first time and made three passes.
I'm happy I broke into the 11s on my daily FF tune. Next time I'm going to try out the Lund Race Flex tune and see if that improves my times. Runs seem to be kind of consistent.
Edit: Unsure why the forums automatically...
Best I managed was 1.60 60', but the track I went to was known to not stick as well as the quarter mile track we have out here. I'm hoping to cut a better 60' out at the quarter mile track this Saturday.
