For what it’s worth, the back of my panel says S550 Cobra Decklis Appliqué Assy. It’s a 2 piece assembly epoxied together. While somewhat flexible standalone, it’s pretty rigid when in place...so I agree it’s strange it just didn’t shatter.

Definitely plastic. Mine was scratched during transport and dealer had to replace it. Dealer gave me the scratches one so I could pull the badge off. Upside, I picked up my 2020 GT350 last night!

After installation is the dealer supposed to realign? I have mine being installed this week on mine and want to make sure I follow up if an alignment is necessary.

Mine had a build date of 09/19 and is currently in transit with dealer eta of 10/16.

I noticed that on mine too this weekend. Just popped back in on the Ford Vehicle Order Tracking site and it's back to Shelby -less. LOL. Window sticker checks out to what I ordered, so no worries here. I also show a dealer ETA of 10/6...not holding my breath, I know things change.

As of yesterday, Noah at FP said I’m now scheduled for 9/19 and the “Shelby -less” means no stripe. FWIW, my order date was 07/17.

Shit...checked my order sheet and sure enough, I got billed for a Shelby-Less Package (X10B) at the tune of $16k ;)

LOL...who the hell knows. Under model, I have: 5.2L Ti-VCT V8 with Flat Plane Crank Engine RWD 6-Speed Manual Transmission Shelby - Less Maybe the GT350 is not a Shelby and the GT350R is Premium. :)

Great, thanks guys. I kind of figured the coating might prevent the PPF from adhering but wasn't sure and I understand that paint correction/polishing is a must. Once I have a delivery date, I wanted to get everything lined up so I can drive with peace of mind. :)
