Happy to help. I'm watching this thread to see how it turns out. Even after the repairs I'm not thrilled about my trans and have been thinking about a T56 or 3160 swap. To be fair I don't remember it shifting poorly or notchy before I broke my 3-4 fork last year and that repair only lasted 6,000...
I don't think I have the VVT ratcheting noise although It's hard to test without someone to rev the motor for me.
I crawled under the car yesterday and found an exhaust leak caused by a loose exhaust clamp and my rear shifter mount was not tightened up either. Of course that reduced some of...
I get more of what I'd call a ticking sound (not the bbq tick) under acceleration from 1500 and up. I suspect it's valve train related since it's louder when I pull the oil fill cap. I even pulled the plugs and ran a bore scope into the cylinders. The plugs all looked good and nothing jumped out...
I gotta say now that it's cooled down a bit that was fun.
This is my full drive (about 20 mins) as I searched for some hills large enough to take 10 seconds to get up.
This is a pretty long hill where I was able to go full throttle a bit before coming up to a red light.
This is a longer...
@StangTime I started data logging mine after seeing your post on the performance tune thread. I also get high knock counts on sensor 1 and 2 but nothing on KnKAdder. I think mine is related to valvetrain since the tick is louder when I remove the oil fill cap.
I can data log some stuff to...
I just had 2nd, 3rd, and 5th replaced on my 2018. The RO lists out these part numbers for the gears. I searched parts.ford.com and added those links too.

That's what comes up if you search for it on parts.ford.com. The picture isn't great but if you look at the Steeda pics and the one Slowpoke uploaded you can see the correct orientation. The vent needs to be pointing upwards. There is a tab on the passenger side of the clutch housing where it...
I only purchased the lid and tray for mine. I reused all the hardware and other small components. My foam piece hardened a bit and was formed to the FPP kit but I reused it anyways. Some left over Dynamat type tape on the box allowed me to reuse it.
I ordered the Ford Performance filter and received an Airraid filter with a Ford Performance sticker slapped on the box. I should've ordered the Airraid from the start. 🤷‍♂️
There is a TSB for 3/4 as well. Of course it being a TSB you must break it before you get the new "upgraded" parts. I broke my 3/4 fork in November and got the work done. It seems to shift better. Unfortunately the drag strip nearest me closed down in December and I haven't had a chance to...
I have the EPP as well. I had a warranty claim for a broke 3-4 shift fork and a whine from the diff at highway speed. This is while I still had the 3/36 warranty active. The dealer made no mention of the Calibration Pack. I also have the Steeda Tri-Ax Race shifter and they made no mention of it...
@EFI
I ordered these items from Levittown Ford. I have the lower tray from the FPP kit. All I can say with confidence is the FRPP tray doesn't line up with the GT500 lid. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Finally installed a catch can. I found I'm losing a quart every 3,000 miles or so. I like this one uses a bracket and isn't supported by the hoses. The can has been rotated to remove the kinks in the hoses.
2018 and up has the pilot bearing in the flywheel as opposed to the crank. The input shaft is shorter than pre-18 cars. I don't expect there to be an easy way to retrofit an older style clutch into our cars.
I think this is it. I got it from the linked thread

Yup. There are TSBs for 1-2 and 3-4 forks. I broke mine in November while racing. It's a mostly stock car so the dealer didn't give me any trouble.
I've seen posts on here where Calimer advises against the RXT in MT82 because it destroys transmissions...
