If you baby it the rings will not set properly, and the engine will burn oil. Put the pedal to the metal after engine warms up of course and you have a warranty anyways.
Better to find out during the warranty if you have a lemon. I always change my oil after 1000 miles.

Smart move to keep the iconic 2015 Mustang. To each their own, but I never get bored putting the pedal to the metal, the only drawback is the fuel fumes in the cabin

If the 2018 comes in at 475 HP and if Ford did not upgrade the internals, specially the rods and pistons, this could be the cause of the delay. The weak link to the 5.0 is the rods, so if anyone plans on adding a hair dryer I highly recommend upgrading the internals
