Ya just checked out the vid from LMR and it looks like there is some foam padding on the decklid piece as opposed to adhesive between the lid and the trunk. I may need to just loosen up the bolts and make sure the top part of it is pressed back into place with the clips...easy enough!

I'm not an electronics guru by any step of the means, but it would be cool to outfit these fobs with capacitive touch type buttons to help with the pocket button pushes. It might even help with the form factor as well. Hell it may not even be possible haha. Very cool project you took on though!

Put my paint matched redline hood struts in today from jlt. They look great! Install wasn't too bad, though the fender side of the strut was a bit of a PITA to get on for both sides.

No regrets here. I was actually surprised at how much the base model came with in comparison. For me, 5k wasn't worth leather, a touch screen system (which ends up irritating me over time), illumination things, trim bits and a stereo I probably still wouldn't be happy with (audio nerd here)...

Installed my first mod today, UPR separator! Very nice sturdy piece of work, and a breeze to install. Though tint and exhaust are next on the list, kinda wouldn't mind cleaning up the engine bay a little bit for some non-functional fun.
