  1. Ford Performance Tune for 2018+ GT

After almost 2K posts, I get to chime in & say that I too have the FP tune/kit for my car. Supercharging was never really an option in my case. So I went this route. And retaining the factory warranty was also a plus. Had a local dealership do the install. I like the improved throttle...
  2. Is it common for the 2nd gen coyote to make a kind of suddenly moderately loud click when the engine is shut off?

Is it a minute or 2 after you shut it down? I was under the hood of my car last weekend, preparing to install my remote air/oil separator mount and heard what sounded like a relay click and a groan, of sorts. Hard to describe. Just a guess but I think that the car doesn't totally shut off...
  3. Gas prices dropping soon?

Avg price of fuel in CA has gone up $1.00/gal in the last month to $5.75. One month!
  4. B&O 10" sub replacement guide

Does anyone have specs on the rear speakers? Or all of the speakers for that matter.
  5. Science is now cancelled? [USERS NOW BANNED FOR POLITICS]

https://www.statista.com/statistics/1191568/reported-deaths-from-covid-by-age-us/ https://datavisualizations.heritage.org/public-health/covid-19-deaths-by-age/ A bit of discrepancy between the two, but largely similar.
  6. Programming Key Fob With One Key

One of the first things I did when I bought the car was to get a 3rd key fob. I've learned my lesson with losing a key/FOB for a Ford vehicle. I'll always have at least 2 keys for my vehicles.
  7. 2022 Mustang Gt California Special and Performance Package

The B&O is not worth the cost, IMO. I have it, but not a fan. I added a 'real' sub to mine. The audio could really use more upgrades, but I'll save the $$ for other goodies. The sub in the B&O setup is laughable.
  8. Magnaride damper ride quality

You'd think that for $6500 that is the Performance pack, they would throw in the Magnaride. Another 2 grand? Sheesh. If you're getting the PP. Got to have MR.
  9. 2018 28k mile ecoboost went boom.

Broke that f'er almost in half. :surprised:
  10. Anybody using Ford Pass...?

Couldn't have said it better. We as a society carry enough tracking devices. Fordpass in a F250? Maybe. Mustang 5.0? NO.
  11. California Smog Testing Process (Question for CA Residents)

As far as the testing goes, nowadays with newer cars, they plug in a computer to your OBD-II port and read something. They don't put it on the treadmill or sniffer like they do with older cars, pre OBD-II autos, if I'm not mistaken. Regarding your inspection question, not sure exactly but...
  12. Looking for Ceramic coating in San Fran area

I used Immaculate Reflections out in Brentwood. I had PPF done on my ride. He does ceramic also. He does great work, but he won't be the cheapest.
  13. New MAF sensor

I bought a Motorcraft MAF sensor last summer from Rock Auto. Paid overnight shipping for it and had it in less than 24hrs for $175ish.
  14. This is soooo cool!,!

There's an Engineer nerd with too much time (and hotwheels track) on his hands.:handsinair: Nice!
  15. GT 500 and Quick Jack

I picked up 4 of these for my QJ https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B078J55SBW/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
  16. B&O 10" sub replacement guide

Pretty much as Greg said, but here's my method. Removed the box from the trunk, brought it in the house. Broke nearly all the tabs that hold the grille ring but got it off. Shitty grille ring mounting scheme, IMO. Unscrewed the grille & removed the speaker. Took a dremel and cut away the...
