Yeah, I plan on torquing the spacers to 120ft/lbs as per the recommendations I've seen in a lot of videos, then re-torquing after 100 miles or so to be safe. I believe the PP wheels are 150 ft/lbs as per the manual.
Does anybody have suggestions for installing wheel spacers? Should I invest in a steel brush attachment for my drill to clean off rust/debris, and should I be using some kind of anti-seize?
Oh God, I stress over the stupidest/littlest things. Makes owning these cars a huge pain considering Mustang's aren't known for being anywhere near flawless
Just tonight I was installing my Diode Dynamics side marker lights, and almost broke the damn clips getting the new lenses in since...
How much are you guys paying for installation? The black friday sale on Airlift looks really tempting, but I don't think I could afford another $1000+ to install it.
Plenty of people run springs on OEM struts/mounts with no problems.
OP, if you like the current springs, you'll most likely be fine on whatever aftermarket setup you want, IMO - I don't see how something like a spring could not work with a different brands struts. A spring is a spring, and a...

I just bought their 25mm wheel spacer & black lug kit for $113 (50% off). Total steal!!!
Yeah... I don't know what their deal is lately. Really hoping to grab some more goodies, but at this point I feel like they aren't going to even...
I wanted to do this same thing, but it looks like the 2018 bumper is shaped differently to fit the new valance.
Give it a few months, I'm sure we'll have plenty of information by then on how to retrofit 18 parts.
By the way, for anybody curious, I found the part # for the new spoiler. Just be...
I'm in the same position as you. I really want wheel spacers, but since my car is my daily, I need guards before anything, and I'm yet to find a pair that is "perfect".
Somebody near me is selling a Trufiber GT350R wing for $250 used with no mounting template, but it has the hardware.
Should I do it?! I really want the Anderson Composites one, but this is a killer deal. How painful would the install be?
Any idea which splash guards you're getting? The reason I've held off on spacers is because of the same concerns. I daily drive my car, and I already have chips all over the bumper and mirrors, the last thing I want are rock chips all down the sides of the car too.
Is there any information regarding the install? Bumper removal, cutting, etc?
I've been holding out for this piece for quite a while now, would love any info! Thank you! :headbang:
