I obviously have a '15 GT w/PP. You all know the stock PP tire size.
I am going to purchase the Niche GT5 wheels along with Nitto INVO tires when the time draws near for a new set of tires. I want to put 255/35/20 on the front and 295/35/20 on the rear. My question is would the 295s be a...
Found these Niche wheels on AM site and think they look fantastic! 20x8.5 and 20x10. I'm highly considering these for purchase with my next set of tires which will be Nitto NT555 255/35/20 and 275/35/20 in the rear.
Just ordered the Ford Racing Borla Catback Touring Exhaust w/ Black Exhaust Tips. The CJ Pony Parts video sold me on it. Love the exhaust note the video showed. I'm pretty excited. I'll give a loudness rating in a week and a half after it arrives.
You know I saw that and I'm going to ask about getting one in two weeks when I take it back to my original dealership. I don't know why or how that would void your warranty... but we'll see. I'll let you know if and when I get it done if it voids the warranty or not (but I assume it won't).
Well for the most part they do. I know the 3.73's in the PP add different shifting characteristics. I test drove my father's GT convertible with 3.55's or 3.331's (I can't remember for the life of me) and it shifted smooth for me. From what the Ford Engineer said, "our Performance vehicles make...
3.73s are quicker off the line... it's as simple as that. 3.55s have better top end spend... 3.73 would be more desirable for track days because of better acceleration coming out of turns, especially sharp turns. It's really not that big of a deal.
Let's not attempt to divide the Mustang...
FROM WHAT I'VE OBSERVED THROUGH ALL THESE THREADS ON MT'S:
It is ALL exclusive to those that own Performance Package Mustangs, GT and/or Ecoboost.
It has to have everything to do with the MT-82 + 3.73 Torsen + computer inside the car. That is the general reasoning I was given from a Ford...
So user error or dealership error or just car defect? I'm very curious now... I've had passenger side door panel alignment issues. They "fixed" it 2x. 3rd time may be the charm as I could claim the Alabama Lemon Law and get a brand new one. Kinda hoping for the lemon law at this point...
I'm training myself NOT to do that. It almost makes it more difficult because the clutch engages when the pedal is depressed a third or less of the full range. This makes the shifting much smoother. The MT-82 with the 3.73 Torsen makes "imperfect" shifts much more noticeable. Just takes...
Well I took it to the dealership in Meridian, MS. Got my new tire valve installed and they said that they wouldn't feel comfortable diagnosing if there's something wrong with my manual transmission (all they sell and work on are trucks really... it's the south). They emailed the Ford Engineers...
I've taken it to my dealership (Mullinax Ford in Mobile, AL) and they had it for a week but were "not able to fully test drive it because of the rain." So I haven't exactly gotten a great diagnosis from it. What I do know is that their safety person came to the conclusion that it was safe to...
PHEW!!! Well it's nice to know I'm not the only one with this issue! It was starting to concern me... I notice it's even more prominent in cold weather.
Did someone say that a transmission fluid change/swap would help reduce the noise? If so, what brand would be best suitable?
Ford is just kicking @$$ with this new stang! Drawing rave reviews left and right and the only American car in the final 3 for best car of the year! GO STANG!! :ford:
Man that vette and stang are beautiful... I own a DIB Premium GT w/ PP. I get complimented all the time on her, and stopped by people everywhere even more lol. It's a beautiful car and drives fantastic and definitely is FAST!
I would highly recommend this vehicle and color especially.
