As several others have conveyed - I say do it with one condition........don't leave the cobra badge on and try to make the car something it isn't lol. This isnt any different than the guys going to the GT350 exhaust or spoilers (which look badass IMO) or the gt500 bumper/valence/exhaust/spoiler...
Also has to do with several other variables - especially how "safe" the car is based off crash test ratings etc. The bigger question for you prob would be do you technically still live at home/hows your driving record. When I was on my parents insurance it was pretty cheap - when I moved out I...
In my opinion everyone who stays stock or close to it seems fine. The guys who really abuse the car or go mod crazy seem to have the issues. My 14 was traded in with 33k pretty hard miles on it and I had zero issues. 15 is just as good....no complaints here other than the clutch spring.
Yep...
haha yea we could arrange that. I work right off 696 and telegraph. If you wanted a base GT i would be shocked if you couldn't find a slightly used one for under 30, if not a new base model. I got my base 15 PP with Recaros last August for about 33k OTD with a little negative roll ($500?) from...
^This. I daily my PP (actually work in Southfield lol) and trust me you get PLENTY of opportunities to let the car stretch its legs. I daily mine because I simply can't imagine not having this level of power in my cars anymore. The times you do get to use it more than make up for all the traffic...
Another daily driven PP with 3.73s checking in....50 miles each day city/highway mix and no complaints. Mileage isn't horrible and on long trips cruising at 73, I've managed anywhere from 24-26 mpg. Had 3.55s in my 14 mustang and definitely prefer the 3.73s
Having the same issue as many have reported...at first I thought it was my battery until both remotes (one I never use) had the same issue. Nice to see that the problem has been adressed and taken care of. Will be contacting CJ since that's where I ordered from. Thanks to everyone who has...
might've taken that offer (esp since youre in MI too) before I opened the box when it arrived last night lol. Got a few small items along with a jar of their patriot wax (normally $100). Very excited to try that once the weather finally breaks in April or May. I need some more deep wheel cleaner...
yea pay attention to their sales-usually can buy a gallon of the detail spray for like $38 and it should come out cheaper than continuously purchasing the individual bottles. My package arrived last night and I was pleasantly surprised.....edge-less microfiber, sample size detail spray, foam...
I am sure my process is not perfect but here is what has been working well for me on my daily driven stang:
I do a weekly hand wash usually followed by two steps
1) I use Adams Gloss & Guard (while car is still wet) once a month (twice in winter) to seal the car. If I have already used...
I recieved a box similar to that for christmas (except no wash mitts and more sprays). That was awesome lol....with a shipping weight of 1.5lbs I must not have gotten that lucky this time. My pkg is supposed to arrive tomorrow.
I will be paying attention for that sale announcement....meant to order a few products with my mystery box but was in a hurry and totally forgot. :frusty:
Welp mine weighs 1.5 lbs lol. Maybe im getting microfibers or applicators. I was really hoping to try the new visco clay out. Guess I'll just have to buy it the old fashioned way
As long as you want a manual, I'd say get the perf. pack no doubt. Love mine and can't imagine not having it. As everyone else seems to have said brakes alone are worth it not to mention the easier resale of PP wheels. I opted out of the premium because there was nothing on it I felt I needed...
Got my smoked markers last night and installed them. Some first impressions:
-The markers come nicely packaged from Diode Dynamics
-The smoked lenses look dark when off, but are very bright when they are on
-I watched the CJ Pony install video on youtube and thought installing them would be a...
I've had some minor lower back injuries and and a result absolutely hated my 14 GT premium seats on long rides. As far as my 15 goes, I have taken several 3 hour+ trips and haven't had any discomfort. My seat is pretty straight - as others have said, probably is all about finding the proper...
