Question for everyone... my car is scheduled to be built on October 13, but it's still just "in processing." If I switched my color now from Ingot to Magnetic, would my build date be delayed??

How could they just now be figuring that out?? They've run hundreds of cars through already. And honestly, they could fix that problem in a matter of days. You could pump out thousands of new badges in hours. Sounds like BS to me.

Has anyone found a good outdoor car cover for the 2015 model? I unfortunately will have to park mine outside and we've had an issue with break-ins recently in my neighborhood. Want to keep my car covered and locked up when it's finally delivered.

Just FYI, on ETIS it shows every order as 11.30.0002 until it actually enters production. I would recommend calling your dealership and asking the inventory manager for your build date. They should have it now that you've been assigned a VIN.

Sounds about right. My VIN is 12XXX and I was told by my dealer yesterday that my scheduled build date is October 13th. Also said I should expect delivery in 3rd or 4th week of November.

So true. I guess it's all a matter of perspective. If the worst thing we have going is waiting an extra couple of weeks to get our beautiful new cars, life is ok.

It's actually a combined event... he said, "Local Philadelphia dealerships and Ford Motor will be hosting the event. Mark your calendar, details to follow." All I know is that it will be in one of the parking lots at Citizens Bank Park on Oct 16. Will let you know when I get more details.
