  3. Rant time...what's the worst thing about your Mustang?

for me after years of driving Falcons (Australian) it's the shitty paddle shifters and not being able to change gear using the shifter, lack of steering feel when pushing on and the lack of digital speedo and the ridiculous handbrake location as its the same as lhd cars could do with more...

I know you could go on and on with these rear end mods but in my case its a stock auto so I don't really see the point It's pretty decent the way its setup now.
  6. BMR CB005 review

I recently installed a BMR CB005 cradle bushing lockout kit (thanks GT 550) Installation was straightforward , started on a hoist but worried about the car sliding forward when supporting the diff so did it on the floor. Still a pretty easy job, straight away had the alignment done which was now...

  8. Absolutely SICK and TIRED of this piss poor paint job. Easily over 20 rock chips.

I drive the same with this car, paint looks great but it's too easily chipped. My daily is a 2001 Ford Fairlane (Australian model) and the paint is super tough, years of driving on our shit roads virtually no chips
  9. Absolutely SICK and TIRED of this piss poor paint job. Easily over 20 rock chips.

I have used it with my Opticoat pro + coated race red Mustang a few times. Yesterday I had to do a mirror with a large chip, have used it on the rear 1/4's before and also used the gloss black on the factory 19's. Once you get familiar with it, it's very hard to see the repair. Practiced on...

  13. The true reason unveild behind Gen3 coyote tick. According to MPR racing engines

So I wonder why Australian cars don't seem to have this issue, don't know about the 18 and 19's but the 15 to 17's here use 5w-30 not 5w-20
  14. Aussie Exhausts

  15. Honey Badger's Completely Off-the-Rails Race Car Build and Track Adventure Thread

I think all this proves what a great engine it really is. Can't think of another production engine at a reasonable price that could take what this has with one minor failure.
  16. Honey Badger's Completely Off-the-Rails Race Car Build and Track Adventure Thread

is that pitting? these dont use a external balancer do they?
  17. Honey Badger's Completely Off-the-Rails Race Car Build and Track Adventure Thread

probably best just to check the clearances, replace all bearings, new rod bolts and thats it
  18. Honey Badger's Completely Off-the-Rails Race Car Build and Track Adventure Thread

So whats the plan, new big end and main bearings, bolts and screw it together? cant really see but whats going on with the crank snout? you might as well check the main and big end clearances, just use plastigage its easy and fairly accurate Chances are very high every things ok but always...
  19. What did you do to your Aussie S550 today..

recently had paint correction done and Opticoat Pro+ applied to paint and wheels inside and out and glass Pro came out far better than I had hoped for, have used Ceramic Pro before but this has a superior finish and shine bought the LED kit for DRL and front parkers and interior last week fitted...
  20. Honey Badger's Completely Off-the-Rails Race Car Build and Track Adventure Thread

Is it normal on circuit cars to have the hot oil cooler so close to the radiator, seems like a lot of heat from the oil cooler would pass through the radiator. Doing a great job with very limited garage space!
