My 99 has never been washed ever unless the dealer did it before I got it same for the 16. Both have been rained on a few times while out. Only cleaned with dry wash products. I know this is not possible with daily drivers.
I am not downing the car or the owners. I am downing the " I'm better than you because I have a 350 " attitude I have seen with some 350 owners. Would also apply to a GT owners that looked down on a V6 owner. Or anyone demeaning anyone. Please be real these are mustangs not a Bugatti.
I have also seen the looking down on the eco and V6 owners. Not right either. "Can't we just all get along"
The 99 was built, front to back and top to bottom way too much to list but it runs well.
There is no doubt that the 350 can out perform a GT in certain areas right from the factory but I think the perception is way over rated. I am in several Mustang clubs and I always find it funny how the 350 guys always have a feeling of superiority and also funny how I do not notice this with...
Human nature is to rationalize the choices that we make so it makes sense for all the 350 owners to say they love their car and all the GT guys to do the same and that they never thought otherwise. When I was looking I immediately thought I had to have a 350 until I drove a couple. So for the...
I have watched the videos of the sponsors of this event for several years. How they have modded their cars and the way they have improved or hurt the performance of their cars. I don't think I have seen any negative effects of watching their videos. No click bait, I choose to watch. I don't see...
I am amazed at the you tube hate. The guys putting on the event show videos of mods and how they work no more no less. I really don't care who is putting on the event just wanted to drive my car and look at and talk to some mustang guys no more no less. Plus the dealer where it is being held...
Wow you sure do have some kind a hard on for YouTube. The posters I'm talking about are nothing like you describe. Again the YouTube part was minimal to my question. I was just seeing if anybody was going to an event for Mustangs not sure why you think people are gonna blow engines or hit curbs...
Not sure what all the cutesy 14 year old answers are about. YouTube is not what it's about. How about it is spring cars have been sitting all winter and here is an opportunity to drive your car and be at an event about mustangs. Don't really expect anybody but locals to the event to go.I feel...
Well your showing your ignorance. I guess the old saying if you don't know what your talking about you shouldn't. The people that will be there don't whine and I have never seen any clickbait and the majority of the videos show how to install mods and how they perform. But again you probably...
Would not expect you to come to NJ from IL. Not sure why going to an event with a lot of other people that enjoy mustangs is a lol.
Maybe you or you car are just too cool to share the hobby with others. Some body watches them they have hundreds of thousands of subscribers.
I have a 16 with 6R80 would never go back to a stick. There is no human that can out shift a computer. If you do not like the way it shifts have the car tuned. There is a great deal that can be done to that trans with a tune. Set up right the 10R80 is crazy fast.
The difference is you can't launch the auto at 5 grand. So the launch is a lot softer. Most half shafts that I have seen break are on the starting line. The shock to the shaft can be much harder than on the auto.
The traction control killed you. 123 is good MPH. should easy be low 11's with that MPH. Your biggest problem is probably going to be traction with the stock tires.
