Thanks. The widebody kit on stupidloud looks very professionally done. But hellboy hasn't updated his insta since January, and he still has the OEM extractors. You think it'd be cool if I reached out via insta, just to pick his brain?
I'm still in info gathering mode, but I did send an email...
Hi.
I'm looking to install some trackspec heat extractors for my hood. I know of a pretty good body shop around the corner from my house, but they don't do 'custom' work, only insurance jobs, or OEM repair.
I am deathly afraid of someone I don't know cutting into my hood and not doing a clean...
I don't think I ever disagreed with anything you've posted. This was the first. Which is why I highlighted an old thread as I was reading through it. Cheers bro.
Agreed. But just about every Ecoboom I've actually read about has been a custom tune or 'advanced' canned tune. I think I may have read 2 documented cases of stock Eco's and that can easily be attributed to being factory lemons just as much as anything else. I'm not saying it doesn't happen, I...
Very cool. I'm glad you took the time to document this experience. I too, would want a similar experience if I ever moved on from my FP tune. I've thought about stratified, and I've also thought about Lund in that regard. Both have put out a lot of solid material and documentation out there, in...
I've been watching these forums a LONG time (both this one and the 'other' one), and I have yet to see a case of an Ecoboom on an FP tune. Have you? Honestly curious.
Thank you Steeda!
Let me preface this by saying, I'm an avid customer. I have your subframe alignment kit, irs bushings, braces, lowering springs, and other equipment. Needless to say, I am a fan. So thank you for chiming in.
On the top bolt. Again, I will reiterate: that after the camber arm...
Sorry to reawaken this thread, but I am new to the game in trying to install this kit, and it is BY FAR, the best details I've seen on getting it done (although the photobucket pics in the OP are long gone).
So here is what I think are the most critical aspects to it, and hopefully you can...
I have some used MGP caliper covers for sale on eBay. One has some scratches that are really not visible due to the proximity of the scratches to the hub spokes. I ended up painting my calipers. All parts needed are included. Parts are as-is.
They will fit stock GT or Perf Pack Ecoboost brakes...
I guess not choosing my VIN (non premium) on the website would help.
Grabbed a VIN off of Carmax for a reeal Sync3 vehicle, and it gave me a different file to download. I'll keep you posted if I have any more issues, but I think this is my issue.
Hi all.
Just put a new Sync3 system upgrade kit in my Mustang, and it came as Sync3 1.0. The latest files from Ford's website are 5.11. When I try to stick my USB stick in, it tells me that they are "bad installation files". The stick is formatted as exFAT, as per Ford, and ALL the files I got...
Read just about this entire thread. Can anyone confirm if the illuminated sills will work on a base Sync1 Ecoboost Mustang (non premium, no MyColor) WITHOUT having to tap the purple/white wire on the kickpanel connetor per the instructions. I'd rather not tap a wire, if I didn't have to.
