Oh it works great on the street too. I MIGHT hit up the dragstrip once a year and that's only if I do a new mod that might make a pretty noticeable difference. My car is mostly a street car.
I have the IAT2 shown on my gauge cluster and on my SCT X4 right now. You are using that probe that transmits back to your Aeroforce gauge? Where is your probe mounted? I was wanting to monitor the actual temp of the coolant as well as IAT2's and it looks like the Aeroforce can do that based on...
I dont have my 2015 GT anymore, I have a 2013 GT that is making that power. My wife also has a bone stock 2013 Boss 302 with 5900 miles that sits in storage. My 930whp GT has Rods/pistons Gen1 shortblock, stock gen1 heads/cams, LT’s, no cats, VMP Gen3r blower, ported lower, VMP return style fuel...
I was looking for a gauge today that I could tap the probe into my reservoir tank so I can get fluid temp reading but haven’t found a gauge that will go that low yet.
I cant wait to get my hands on the stage 2 system. Its literally the last mod for this car. When I had it dyno'd. it made 930whp with the trunk mount ice tank full of ice and I think my IAT's were still between 100 and 120 degrees. So I'm definitely after some cooler IAT's and the power gain.
I was also told no trunk mount ice tank, no 1" ID hoses to and from the ice tank and no more triple pass heat exchanger will be needed. I knew most of this already because they would all defeat the purpose of cold coolant. I am buying a used VMP ice tank this weekend from a friend that isnt...
I already have a tubular crash bar and a aftermarket kmemeber. I’m still not 100% dead set on a stage 2 kit because of possible space limitations even after I eliminate my triple pass.. but as cold as I could get would be badass. I haven’t asked Kirk yet what additional parts come with a stage2...
I'm about to pull the trigger on a Stage 2 Interchiller system for my 2013 Mustang GT with a VMP Gen3r. Ill get to ditch my VMP triple pass HE, the trunk mount ice tank and all the 1" hose running to and from that ice tank. I bought a engine bay VMP ice tank and ill move my EMP pump to the front...
Anyone ever had thier factory PP chin spoiler pull off the front bumper at high speeds and start rubbing the road? The screws that hold it on ripped right through the bottom of the bumper and now it just flops around? Warranty issue?
I think I'm just going to go TT.. I end up spending around $1k more for the complete TT kit with a fuel system and tuning vs the complete price of the P1X. Seems like many people buy blowers and then end up upgrading them later to a single or TT kit anyways.
I think I'm going with the LPF kit as well.. I have two local friends that both have the kits and love them and Justin was here in town over the weekend doing some tuning on one of them and didn't charge him a dime. I came out and met up with him, shot the shit for a little while, nice guy and I...
