  1. BMR Tech Tip: Check those axle-to-spindle retaining nuts!

I have this as well. Clicking sound that appears to be in the back half of the car. The noise sounds like it's almost coming from the Diff, but it happens at low speeds mainly at decel. Sometimes it does when the car isn't warmed up and I'm just pulling out either backing out or going forward...
  2. Engine Comes Apart

    What mods do you have?
  3. Using Accessport to track Knock?

Monitor ignition corrections that will show you where you have issues. You can do Cyl1-4 if you want to. I do 1 and 3.
  4. Blown motor last night

What were you peaking at in the cold weather? on 93 on my tune from Tune+ adjusted last summer I peaked under 24psi currently with ignition corrections that were very low like -.12 lol. On my e30 I still do in the upper 25 psi on boost and that is recent. I'm a May 2015 Build engine from the...
  5. Blown motor last night

What was the build date on the OP's engine? As others have commented to check and see if it is a Spain engine.
  6. Looking for just a little more top end pull.

Doing a turbo and head upgrade on the high dollar performance upgrade would help. You can see increases though with little things like a better waste gate actuator as it will hold boost longer in the higher RPMs. When I did my Tune+ WGA the curve was smoother and it lasted a little longer in...
  7. Steeda Progressive Springs for Performance Package Mustang

Yeah I launch the car, it does great. I haven't taken it to a track as I'll need track tires for that. For street It launches pretty hard and connects in the 1-2 shift pretty well. I have no wheel hop or bouncing. I hear a lot of the track guys just put in Viking shocks, I have no idea if they...
  8. Steeda Progressive Springs for Performance Package Mustang

I have the BMR rear adjustable swaybar and it did help, but springs helped the most. I am going to leave my front swaybars for now stock. I don't need a strut tower brace as the Performance package has something similar to that built in. I'm a Manual Transmission.
  9. Steeda Progressive Springs for Performance Package Mustang

Last weekend I had installed Steeda Progressive springs on my PP Premium Ecoboost Mustang. Results: The ride is about the same as stock with normal driving and cruising. I couldn't tell a difference. When you get over 70 and around a few corners the body roll is drastically decreased. So...
  10. Interesting Find and a Case for Paper

Nobody makes me sweat my own sweat
  11. Ignition corrections on downshift throttle blip

You would want to be more concerned at WOT. Still though I'm MT custom tuned and I don't have too many negative ignition corrections on my car. Are you using stock plugs as there is a pretty decent market out for aftermarket plugs, I've used Denso's for over a year and it's helped out, but you...
  12. Vargas Stage 2 Owners

I disagree with your point about not to listen to what you hear about on this turbo. It's marketing good or bad like it or not right. If users have accurate data that supports positive results then promote it for someone to spend money on it. If users of the turbo have data that negates using...
  13. EcoBoost... How much boost are you hittin?

If you are running 93 that's way too high for boost. It's even high for e30. Not sure about straight e85 though. I'd ask your tuner to review your logs as it could be over boosting which isn't good for a stock block on pump fuel.
  14. EcoBoost... How much boost are you hittin?

I hit 25+ peak and average about 24 on e30 this is after oil is fully warmed up right about 85 degrees after about 20-25 minutes of driving. I have hit 26 for peak on e30 a few weeks ago as well.
  15. 3.55 or 3.73 Rear End?

If you have MT, I'd stick with 3.55. I had a 2011 V6 MT and 3.73 were great for acceleration, but damn I had to shift all the time. For automatic you can go with 3.73 or 4.10 as you are not the one doing the shifting :). That's what I'd recommend for DD
  16. 13.5 @ 104 Lund e30, IC, intake, muffler delete on 20s, 3.15 gears

Agreed 91 will be much slower then e30. What would of been interesting is to see how you stacked up on 91 vs his 91. Also were you both auto or mt. MT's are quite a bit slower even worse if it's a noob at it. I dread driving on 93 as my e30 feels like a complete different car.
  17. Ecoboost mods, at some point it has to stop! :)

The intercooler adds consistency to your pulls. They have data that shows drops in charge Air temps significantly if you just google around or look on this forum After one hard pull those charge temps will be pretty high with the stock intercooler. Just upgrading to a decent one will improve...
  18. Ecoboost mods, at some point it has to stop! :)

Intercooler upgrade like the rest of the responses That's the biggest thing to get and the best thing to get. Our stock intercoolers are horrible.
  19. Cavalli Turbo......

Be careful there are a lot of Internet tough guys on here. It's like steroids when you have a keyboard, mouse, and monitor in front of you. I've heard the horror stories it's so scary. I can't make anyone more mad then my wife so I'm good here lol
  20. Cavalli Turbo......

In hindsight looking back at the original post "Coming soon.....Comp turbo!" on 3/25/2015 that can be misleading. I believe in setting proper expectations. You don't want to over commit and then under deliver. I can understand frustration from folks when that was originally posted. The updates...
