Probably should have mentioned my reasoning. For me, the AWE system is too loud. During moderate acceleration (around 2.5-3.5RPM), the noise inside the cabin is too much. Could be considered drone, but AWE denies that their exhaust products produce drone.

Anyone have any experience/input regarding the compatibility of Borla’s resonator and AWE’s Touring Catback? Interested to learn if the two components connect easily or if a large amount of fabrication is needed. Thank you for your help.

Anyone in the NOVA area had their calipers painted? Where did you go? Cost? I researched this and found Calipers R Us, but they’re asking $700.00 plus for painting all four calipers. Thank you for your help.

Curious. Where have you guys brought your S550 for the installation of the exhaust systems? I used PT Tuning for the AWE Touring system, but it’s in Warrenton.

I have reached out to representatives from Borla and AWE to determine the dimensions of their respective h-pipes to determine compatibility. Nothing yet. For maximum exposure, I’m posting the above here on the forums. If anyone can provide their feedback, I would be grateful.

I am hopeful that the Borla resonator (#60661) can be installed as a direct replacement for the AWE h-pipe. Can anyone provide their input/knowledge/opinion/experience regarding the above? Thanks in advance.

No, I do not have Magneride. Parts are on order, but the weather won’t cooperate. Likely won’t be installed until later in the month.

What a difference 24 hours make. Talked to a few members and purchased the following: Ford Racing Shocks and Struts BMR SP083 BMR CB005 Just couldn’t ignore the numerous positive reviews.

Quick update. Decided to purchase the BMR Minimum Drop Springs and CB005. I’ll stick with the PP Shocks and Struts for the meantime and upgrade at a later date. Will I need anything else for a professional install?

Luckily I’m starting out with the PP goodies. And I will not be installing the components. Well beyond my capabilities!

Purchasing minimum drop springs, Ford Racing Shocks and Struts and lockout kit. Am I missing anything for proper installation? This is my first time lowering a vehicle and I want to ensure it’s done correctly. Thank you for your input.
