ah, that’s right. That will be quite the car when it shows up; worth the wait I’m sure. I have to imagine it’ll be coming up soon now that we’re nearly to March.
Thanks Tom. I’m very excited about it. Been working very hard to earn it. I can’t remember from all the other threads, but you have an car on order, or it’s already been produced, something like that, right?
My dealer contacted me last week as well. He gave me an ETA between 3/13 and 3/19 for delivery to the Seattle/Tacoma area. I’ll believe it when the data dump site confirms it
Negative. It’s just straight up owned by the small Part 135 charter company I work for. We have 4 of them. I’m their Chief Pilot/Check Airman. It’s a Beechjet 400.
Thanks for the info Earl. I’m just enjoying the process, and I’m sure it’ll be delivered before I know it. In the meantime, I’ll keep focusing on getting high.......I mean flying my airplane hahaha
I have to imagine the fuel tank problem has been resolved by now. I don’t think they’d keep producing cars if it was still an issue. As for the railroad strike, hopefully that’s all resolved as well
Congrats to everyone who’s been so lucky thus far. Let’s keep these awesome cars rolling off the line. Thanks again Earl and Noah for all the updates.
This is what I figured Earl. As always, appreciate you keeping everyone in the loop though the process. You would think a giant company like Ford could afford to pay a few tech savvy millennials to keep stuff like this working properly.
Well today was supposed to be the “produced” day for 1296. Data dump site says it’s still sitting in the body shop. Will be interesting to see if that’s true, or if the website is still acting up like it was over the weekend.
Oh I will definitely take pictures. I was really considering the carrier truck to minimize the chance of rock dings or other stuff on the way down, but I can't pass up a chance to drive it. I'll just be careful, have a little luck, and get the PPF and ceramic done when I get her down here.
Thanks KB. The long distance purchase thing has been a little tough, but worth it at the end of the day.
Couldn’t agree more on the weather. My only small area of concern is parts of I-5 going through Oregon where the weather can be rain to snow this time of year depending on the temperature...
