Also, the roof of my car pops. Loudly. When I first heard it it sounded like a rock hit it. But there was no one around throwing things. I think it's thermal expansion, as I think it only happens after it's been in the hot sun for a while.
But I've never had a car that's done this before...
I'm paranoid like this as well. I figure any tracking devices not required by the government would probably have to be disclosed by the manufacturer if installed at the factory.
Why is Ford supposedly reimbursing this company for hundreds of dollars a car, when it just had the car. When it...
Ya I don't know why Ford forgot my first name. They used it in the "Dennis, welcome to your new Mustang" thing they mailed me earlier, inviting me to download their FordPass app. So, this is kinda weird. And no one so far seems to know what this is about.
Speaking of dash placement, on the analog dash I wish the fuel gauge wasn't way down and to the right. That viewing angle makes it look like I'm further away from empty than I actually am. (So I gotta remember to hunch down and view it head-on to really see how close it is.)
Not the worst thing, but I don't like how the spring-loaded thingies sticking out inside the cupholders aren't strong enough to keep a cup from tilting in the holder when taking a moderately aggressive turn.
Maybe Ford needs to develop an Active Cupholders system, that firms them up when...
I've had my car only a few months now, so I don't get it, if they wanted to check some system why didn't they just do it at the factory. Why do they want to pay me $300 to check it now?
Apparently there's no signup sheet, you just steal one!
https://www.iihs.org/news/detail/dodge-cars-with-big-engines-top-hldis-list-of-most-stolen-vehicles
That headline's misleading cuz even the smaller engined variants are in the top 20 most stolen.
It does concern me a little tho...
I don't like black wheels so I would've gotten those PP wheels if I had bought at that time, but I think that red might only work on black wheels. And maybe with fewer spokes; those wheels are a bit busy looking in something bright. I'd also say try a dark gray, for a nice contrast.
A gal at...
When my car came in it was dog on the test drive so the salesman drove it on the way back and beat the snot out of it, only *after* that it occurring to him that there's this "transport mode" and they must've forgotten to take it out of that.
Anyways, I figure I'll just get the Ford ESP...
The leather seats aren't any better. They hurt my back for a few weeks until I got used to them. I think I just don't sit with my hips fully back into them, or it would uncomfortably curve my back.
What I don't get about the power lumbar adjustment feature, is that it's an in/out thing. To...
"Oil temperature rises precipitously when the Coyote is revved more than 4,500 rpm for extended periods, and then an external oil-to-air cooler is vital. But those conditions can only be reached on a road-racing track, so the expensive cooler was ditched and engine management strategies were...
Good news if the 400A seats are more durable and less maintenance. I liked the pattern in the 401A, but tan was only offered in 400A, and I didn't want the digital dash.
What's confusing is I'm looking at the Build & Price tool, and it says Leather and Premier Leather, respectively. Can they...
My knees hurt but I don't care, I figure this could be my last manual, in another 10 years I may not be able to drive one or find one available.
On the auto, I never test drove one but watching countless videos of them on YT, while waiting a long time for my car to be built, reminded me of my...
Mine has squealed rather loudly a couple of times I've upshifted at high RPM's and have done it too gradually/not gotten off the clutch fast enough I think. But then now with this car I'm just getting used to driving in high RPM's for the first time.
If I bog the engine down trying to launch it from a stop it'll be a moment before it decides to get going again. But I've had that on my 3V and 2V Mustangs as well.
I don't like that it won't let me set the steering mode to normal after switching the drive mode to sport. Why? I don't like how it doesn't seem to corner any flatter in track mode.
I have PP1 and Magneride and how it feels in sport mode is what I consider should be the base suspension for...
Ya, California's not the place to do it. From a little Googling for my own curiousity on this, you lose your car for a month. Which is okay you won't be needing it cuz you'll be in jail for 3 months. And then even after you get out you still won't be needing it cuz your license is suspended...
Me too. Save for the house once you've figured out what you're going to do for a living as an adult. Cuz you may move for it. Save for retirement once the house is initially purchased. The house will be part of your retirement nest egg anyways.
You sound like you have two things going for...
And then die of cancer at 50, or find out that future inflation is such that $2M is like $200K. Things are changing so fast we just don't have enough ability to predict the future to be maybe sounding that certain about it. I think part of the reason young people don't seem interested in cars...
