Ok, got a question for you folks.
I am tuned via Wengerd, but even stock, on the 2-3 Upshift, does anyone else spin the tires under heavy throttle? My car will kick the tail out a bit and this is with 275 series PS4's.
Back in the day, vacuum was also an important factor for power brakes on a street car. The lope was just a side effect mostly. I used to run Rhodes lifters on my SBC just for the added vacuum and LOW END POWER with an 11' convertor.
Ahh, "back in the days".
Hello all other Vert' owners,
I've been searching and kicking myself in the head trying to figure out a viable solution to the lack of low end punch with a convertable S550.
I didn't want to sacrifice my spare tire nor did I want a big old sub box dominating all the trunk space.
I had this...
Sounds like a vacuum check valve isn't working for the brake booster and normal pedal feel only returns after a couple seconds of idle time. It could be a bad booster or the check valve that supplies vacuum to it.

Dude, I'm in W.P.B. ! Less an hour away. I wanted to go to the air show this weekend and Cars & Coffee in Boca on Sunday. If you go to Cars & Coffee, send me a PM.
We've finally been fortunate in S. Florida to be blessed with some cooler weather. I think the high temp' yesterday by me was 75'F. It's been a long time since I drove without the A/C running.
So, I got out of work early yesterday and had a chance to clean the car up a little, and then took it...
I'm sorry, a 1.246 60' time is just NUTZ for a street car. Friggin' Wow.
With a stock wheelbase street bike (lowered, geared, foot shifting on a touring tire) the best I've ever cut was a 1.62, running 9.5's.
That's more awsome than many will ever know.
