The cars were ugly and low margin. Apart from the Focus RS the only thing that was decent was the Taurus SHO. Pretty low success rate in sedans over the last two decades in the US I’d say so why waste resources? No one grows up aspiring to own a Ford Fusion so is anyone really going to miss it...
If it’s going to have Mustang taillights then give it the name too. If it was named something else then the sexy Mustang rear would definitely be diluted and not so special. It’s not making an American icon any less cool but it sure is going to help them attract buyers who wanted a Mustang but...
I thought that was pretty neat! Something you don’t see much of here
If you don’t like it you can always switch threads and talk about tire patterns or something..
I went to Sentry Ford for a test drive and it was not my favorite experience. From the apathetic nature of the people in there (Mark was my sales guy) to the pathetic test drive that didn't go over 30mph - there's no reason to go there unless you're picking up parts you've ordered from their...
The desire is always there - I don't always want to sit in MA traffic though. I've put 15k miles on it in the last 13 months, I want to get it to at least 100k on the ODO and road trip around the country with it. I don't get tired of being in it at all.
Eh - I like the shine/look of the leather compared to everything else when it's clean so I'd get leather Recaros if I had to have them. But until they heat and cool I'm not interested - I've got plenty of support in stop and go traffic haha
Also airs out smoke better..
I got leather because I think the car looks a million times better with leather inside and a nice touch screen that comes with the premium package. I use all of the premium package. Initially I was excited to have cooled seats after switching from cloth; but I love the heated seats just as much...
I switched to regular even though I planned on always using 93. Not that much of a difference in acceleration for the $0.50+ difference here v regular. Plus I'm always in traffic so being able to run up 2nd gear feels like lightspeed anyway.
You only need to run Ka, MRCD, and Laser. The Uniden R3 is a great one. Barely ever makes a sound but will pick up a cop at 3 miles away easily. Even in NYC picked up a cop over half a mile away through a winding road and concrete buildings on both sides.
The advice you got is better than anything anyone has said here. It's your car - change only what you don't like.
I've gotten pretty comfortable with my car and the only mod I started to considering was a stop-the-hop kit for more stability on rough roads over 100mph.
I'm curious how many of...
I bought with dealer financing and then quickly refinanced the next month to a credit union for half the rate. I suggest finding a local credit union willing to work with you - and maybe see if they would do a slightly lower interest rate for a shorter term making the payments about the same...
It’s basically kangaroo-ing and I have it in my 16 AT as well. You said you just bought it, I found the transmission in manual mode to require some getting used to with timing to keep the car smooth.
Basically when that happens I either shift up, let go of the gas, or give it a little more gas...
I’ve been checking here on and off but seem to always miss stuff in my area. Let me know if you have an interesting set for sale.
