Thanks. I think so. Like I said, I do think it may require some manual adjustment but either way, it's likely worth the investment.

I had lucked out. Mine came off relatively easily by hand. Just put a little weight into it lol.

That was my thought. I love the active exhaust with the steeda h pipe. There really was no need for me to change further. I would prefer the tips up and further back a smidge but that's just me being picky. I think I can adjust some of that with my h pipe clamps so I think once I do that, I'll...

I'll get pics of the gap when I get home. There's not a ton, but enough where I am not concerned of them hitting each other. Maybe a third inch. Did not end up using the wrap. Just need to position them correctly on the tips.

New tips stick out a couple inches further than stock (maybe two). That is a bit noticeable imo. Here's a closeup of the tip and bolt. I don't see them unless bending down to see.

Ok now that I wasn't a hothead, I got these installed pretty snug.

I know. Just frustrated from recent dealings with the car and just not in the mood to deal with something so trivial as exhaust tips right now.

I'll take some pics when I'm not so frustrated. Likely tomorrow. Maybe I take my impact (just a Ryobi electric) and see if they tightens things down enough.

Problem is that the wrap would keep the larger area from moving up and down, but I can literally pull the tip off by hand, even after tightening. They just don't clamp down. I may even just try wet sanding and polishing my stock tips and call it good.

Ok I'm going to have mine welded on. They don't tighten well at all, in my opinion.
