So my question is which type of tire is more likely to help cause a half shaft failure? I would think a sticky tire.. the stickier (slick) then the higher the chances are of the shafts failing. I have a friend that says he has seen more failures with stock tires and drag radials vs slicks...

I just found the MT 305/45r17's.. I kinda think I want those, but $299 each is the best price I can find each.. or the NT05r in a 275/40r17 and I can get two for $386 isn't bad, but I wanted the PHAT tire look to lol
