I was tracking on all seasons because that’s what’s currently on my car and I don’t have a separate set of rims(yet). Not sure what the DA was but google AI is saying it was between 2200-2700ft. Plan is to get the steeda stop the hop ultimate handling kit along with some forgestar 17x10 with...
Im gonna need either an ess g3 or a hellion low mount, so I was planning on using the avid tuning device with a wendgerd pcmtec flex fuel tune with a e content sensor, so i got big plans. Its either that or get a Tesla plaid or the cheapest option a zx14 as im all about saving where I can but...
Yeah true but buying it like that is super expensive I was seeing over 15 a gallon, The 55gal drum was a lot cheaper at around 8.5 a gallon but for that price it would be well worth the drive to get me some of that pump e85 at under 4 a gallon. I was thinking for the times I want to go fast I...
I wish there was more e85 stations around me, the closest one is an hour away. I was thinking of getting a 2 55gal drums one to fill up at the station and another to pump into at my house, but im mildly concerned about keeping so much very flamible gas close by and it going bad. Race gas is way...
I definatly plan on it, it was a ton of fun, I got rather lucky on a lot of the runs where all the really fast cars couldn't put it down so I'd blow by them, the slower cars the would hook would get me to the 1/8th then I'd run them down and pass them up by the end. Then at the end there was...
So I went to the Bristol dragway and it seems more power is useless as it doesn’t even put all the power it currently has down. It was mostly on the shift into 2nd and 3rd gear it would spin the tires a smidge, in drag mode with the advanced trak off it shifted so hard the front of the car would...
Thats mainly what I was wondering was just how bad the loss on the low end was if there was a loss, I know the few Dyno sheets I've seen at least comparing it to a cobra jet manifold to the stock 18 there very close under 4k and over 6 the cj edges out on avg power then comparing the ported...
efficency, and more power na means more power on boost, also in my mind even if I made similar power but on less boost to me means motor isn't working as hard and might last longer
mostly cruise at or under 2200rpm, stock cams and don't plan to do them but was going to go forced induction at some point most likely ess, which is why I was thinking on the manifold and using the gt500 92mm throttle body
I seen the Holley ultra low rams are like half off right now and naturally it got me thinking, How do these manifolds and the cobra jet act at only part throttle and cruising around, is there a loss in low end torque or are there just gains everywhere, beside cost and installation are there any...
I tried to find a rim that comes in both 19x10 and 17x10.10.5 but the only one I could find is the forgestar f14 and there rather expensive. But the r357 and f14 have a similar design so it probably wouldn't look to weird just swapping the rears
I see most go with only a 10 or 10.5 wide rim with the 17s on a 305. Does all the extra sidewall allow for that. As with the 19s you need an 11in wide rim for the 305.
I was hoping 19s would be fine. A majority of the time it would be on 93 only making around 650 but every now and then when I find e85 it would be making around 750-800 is what I’m looking for
So I’m thinking about getting the SVE R357 wheels and having 275/40r19 in the dws 06 squared for an all season setup and when I need all the traction/ when it’s warm and dry, swap to a set of either 305/45/17 or 305 35/19 drag radials in the rear only, probably the Nitto 555r2. Is there a big...
That’s one of the biggest reason I’m wanting to go turbo it being so much quieter than a supercharger. Once you factor in headers on a supercharger the price difference is around 1500 so not a huge difference but definitely there
