nice good you were able to
thanks bud I appreciate it, definitely gonna go 301A.
On another note, I have never heard of doing a tune on car and the warranty isn’t voided so I’ll have to look into this. Thought it flagged td4
Something no one mentioned yet- what about drag mode vs 3.55? That’s what I’m really talkin here. I’m only getting 301A for the drag mode. Thanks
Thanks guys y’all are awesome. Think it will be the 301A. Then maybe down the road it sounds like $1000 for new gear + $500-700 for install. Can’t do it myself. Not too too bad that’s like the price of a catback.
I can change gear, impossible to get drag mode though on a 300a and stay under...
I’d probably get the whole diff new from Ford and the install but it’s good to know the install shouldn’t be too much, the parts tho might be costly I gotta search how much that could cost
wow thanks for your help. Think the dealer could just do the gear swap? I want this thing under warranty so might have to go the dealer route. If I could get out of there paying $1500 dealer installed I would do it.
Leaning towards 301A
yeah I agree, I’m splitting hairs either way. Truly blessed to be considering any of these vehicles. I still can’t get over how darn awesome these are
I should be clear- it isn’t the 301A that I’m after. It’s really all about the drag mode. Drag mode or 3.55s, which is better?
I’m a simple guy too and don’t care about the other stuff the 301A comes with. I’ll be leaving the car stock and just want to have fun with it. Maybe drag strip once a year
Can you guys help me out? I’m having to decide between 2 cars and I don’t know which to go for, the 301A or the 3.55. Please help. Car will be left stock. Thanks guys
I was leaning toward the 3.15’s cause the car will be on stock 235’s, plus I can’t seem to find one in my area with 3.55s
I know the 3.55 is more fun, just like to know if it’s any faster. Car will be staying stock and I found a good deal on a 301A car. Thanks for your reply
how do you know this? That the 3.15 is faster on the street and a wash in the 1/4 mile?
I’m in the middle of buying a car and this would really help out a lot, thanks.
