I'm thinking about switching to 3.31 depending on the cost and effort. I haven't looked into that yet. 3.55s aren't horrible, but they probably aren't optimal for a blown car.
Like the other guy said. IAT2 is what you care about. It was 96 degrees here today. My IAT2 was mid 130s after...
Seems like a pretty good setup whatever it is. Obviously there is a little more to it though. slicks, weight reduction, drag setup, etc. All else being equal, there is nothing magical about a NA car vs a FI car. Horsepower to weight is what gets it down the track. Doesn't really matter how...
Did you guys actually drive a manual? I've never driven a car with such and easy clutch. Unless you aren't able to walk, I don't see how the clutch in these cars could be an issue. It doesn't take much more effort than the gas pedal. :giggle:
What are you guys with manuals running for rear gears? My car has 3.55s and I feel like they are a tad short for my liking. I have 3.55s in my 04 Cobra, but the gears are still much longer due to the T56 transmission.
So this should make it sound much better?
1. aftermarket sub
2. disable center speaker
3. Something in forscan to remove bass limiting?
It's been over 25 years since I was in the stereo scene. I don't need something to rattle the car like I had as a teenager. I already lost a little hearing...
What upgrades did you do for the 9 speaker system? Also, how do you disable the bass rolloff? This 9 speaker system sounds horrible compared to my 2008 BMW. I would have expected better from a much newer car.
I know this is an older thread, but what plugs does the Phase 2 come with stock? My car stutters a little while cruising at a consistent speed. I drives perfect with anything over 10% throttle. I'm wondering if it could be the plugs.
What gears were in your 16? That can make a difference in how it feels. Gen 2 and Gen 3 are pretty much the same with manuals, but the Gen 3 auto should feel faster with the .5 second difference.
My Roush charged car used to fall on its face when you first stab the gas. I got a VMP tune and that resolved the issue. I think my car also hunts for idle for a few seconds on cold starts. However, it's nothing alarming and I think some of my other cars do that a bit also when first started.
I had 4 requirements when I bought my car. The California Special interior was a bonus.
1. low miles - car had 2k
2. decent mods - Roush 727 package
3. 6 speed manual
4. The 8 inch screen
The appearance and functionality added with the larger screen was not something I wanted to go without and...
Yes. The one in my sig. It was 433 rwhp and 478 rwtq last time on the dyno with E50. I don't have the pumps to run full e85. It can't keep up with a fbo on Gen 3 A10, but it gives a fbo gen 2 a rough time trying to keep up. Weight is pretty close with the BMW being a little lighter.
I think...
I Like the 3.55s in mine (ordered from the factory). I think 3.31s and 3.55s are preferred in FI and 3.55s and 3.73s are preferred in NA cars. I'm am surprised at how much shorter the gears are with the 3.55s in my 2016 GT vs the 3.55s in my 04 Cobra. I never looked as the ratios, but the...
Superchargers are i no way considered part of a FBO mustang. lol. Never have been and never will be.
Nope. Never said it was too expensive in any way. Was comparing bolt on Mustang to bolt on M3. Nothing more to read in to that. I mentioned the cost for the bolt ons because someone asked...
