  1. Whipple stage 1 vs stage 2 dyno results - 2018+

Power adder or not I want a safe tune not an aggressive one.
  2. Whipple stage 1 vs stage 2 dyno results - 2018+

I've got to be honest if I harm the car because I put a cobra jet, closed box intake, full exhaust, and tune from a highly praised shop I'll be very disappointed. If drivetrains wear out sooner because of these mods I may reconsider. I feel data logging, watching temps, a catch can, and monthly...

Sorry to hijack this thread carry on
  4. Whipple stage 1 vs stage 2 dyno results - 2018+

Respect to all with power adders and I think most know what they are getting themselves into, but I don't think FI is for me. I want this to be a forever car and don't want to have to rebuild it sooner than later. Hellion TT kits and Whipples are awesome, but with the TT kit these guys wind up...
  5. Whipple stage 1 vs stage 2 dyno results - 2018+

I have an A10 also. Should the engine and transmission last until and over 100,000 miles at this power level?
  6. Can a case be made for leaving it bone stock?

FBO with a tune isn't going to be reliable? How many have blown or damaged Gen 3s without power adders? If it's common then I'm not touching my car anymore and will revert back to stock one day. All it has is BMR springs and the mbrp race exhaust. I plan on keeping this car forever, but if...
  7. Opinion: Whipple 5.0 or 2021 Nissan GT-R?

GTRs are in the 6s now. Sure op would be spending a lot more to mod or even purchase the car, but if he could accept that then I guess he should purchase one.
  8. Opinion: Whipple 5.0 or 2021 Nissan GT-R?

A whipple car beating a stock GTR is nothing to write home about.
  9. Opinion: Whipple 5.0 or 2021 Nissan GT-R?

Sell the mustang, buy GTR, and get a daily driver. I had a $63k pre approval last year and considered a C8, Supra, R32, R33 GTRs and a used, but stock GTR (saw some every once in a while with less than 30k for under or around $60k). A high monthly payment wasn't practical (middle class) for me...
  10. Whats a Little Thing You Love and a Little Thing You Hate?

I don't like the body gaps and I guess I'm not the only one with a gap between the front bumper and one of the headlights. Paint sucks too it's apparent even at 9,000 miles. I can tell the difference in finish and panel alignment between this and my 2013 g37. I have a few scrapes from the...

    What mods and tranny?
  12. Still happy you bought a 10 sp auto?

I'm keeping mine forever and it's been problem free! It's a little disappointing to see comments like this. Ultimately, we're all driving S550s. What happened to camaraderie?
  13. Quicker than the stock 2020 GT500 for half the price !

No fitment issues I assume? The car sounds great btw.
  14. Quicker than the stock 2020 GT500 for half the price !

Any fitment issues with the Steeda intake?
  15. The Mach 1 is incredible.

Was the Camaro auto or manual? Tell us how it compares to the Camaro.
  16. Quicker than the stock 2020 GT500 for half the price !

I'm not doing power adders. I want longevity, but if I did it either be a sleeper kit or Whipple no more than 750whp. Closed intake is the way to go. I'm either getting steeda or roush, but I don't know if the roush will fit a Cobra Jet manifold.
  17. Quicker than the stock 2020 GT500 for half the price !

    This let us know please:thumbsup:
  18. Still happy you bought a 10 sp auto?

Auto is faster especially this one and the manual in itself is not known to be a great feeling or reliable one. I sought out the auto for these reasons and letting the car sit and warm up for a minute or two leads it to driving well. We got to remember it has 10 gears.
