Where do you see dry rot?

3 years old, 32K miles 4/32 tread. Same as other rear tires. Fronts have 5/32. I didn’t rotate enough. Would have to replace all 4. Was hoping to get another 6K from them at least.

How did you get it off? Same situation here - one lug "swollen", can't get 13/16 or 21 mm on, 22 too big. Was just going to hammer the 21 mm on and sacrifice it = cheaper than buying bolt extractor. Did you do something different? Also - where's the best place to buy OEM lug nuts ?

Manual says to move fronts to back and switch sides.

I have the jacking rails. I like the spare idea - I think. Too early to work that out in my head. After coffee maybe.

I need to jack the rear to swap the rear tires (I've already switched back and front on each side) to complete tire rotation per manual. Don't want to use diff (please don't turn this into a diff jacking point debate thread). The plan is to jack one side, insert jack stand, then do same on other...

Finally got this repaired under warranty. Both actuators replaced - works now. No more “self test”, so obviously that only occurs when there is a problem.

Love hazy IPA. Was in Asheville last weekend - breweries everywhere. Wicked Weed Coastal Love IPA my current favorite. Hazy Little Thing close second.

Started the car normally this morning. It’s still did the self test. I’m guessing it’s because it is malfunctioning. It’s possible it’s because I have quiet start on. I’ll try again this afternoon. When quiet start isn’t on.

It’s been failing since about 20k miles. No accidents or mods. Self test just happens every time I start the car. I always remote start, so maybe that’s it. I don’t really know if it does that when I start normally.

If anyone is interested in a summary of the problem, I created a video for the dealership before I dropped it off. They have ordered me two new actuators, although I think I only needed one. Anyway here’s the link to the video:

Need 2018 Active Exhaust Actuator. I'm under warranty, but don't feel like dealing with dealer, and don't want to pay $150 or more for new one. If you have one that you'll take $50 for, I'm ready to buy. Part # is JR3Z-5K245-B or JR3Z-6554-A TIA.
