Probably the most underused feature in our software yet one of the most useful!
You should try "Find related parameters" in the right click menu on the navigator for more magic. I would like to add assembly XRefs to this as well one day to help assist finding related items.
Mike can you post me the MID that pegs at 75% ?
I'm sure we can overcome it, likely it is to prevent burning out a solenoid or prevent some other kind of mechanical failure, but that is up to you if you want to play with it.
You can always check your replies via the support portal here https://support.pcmtec.com we don't reply via email as this way we can see the entire email chain.
If you forwarded the email to your tuner or your tuner replied the metadata that link the tickets would have got lost. If you let us...
If you have our software ID love to see a data log along with what the gauge says.
I'd also love to see if return line is foaming.
If there is a bug we would need this data to fix it.
One possibility is the wiring to the sensor is causing a legitimate reading of 0% ethanol when the engine...
We have had close to a thousand cars with these kits in the falcon with a return style system and it never drops to zero. It can't drain unless your have a fuel leak (otherwise what replaces the Ethanol?) or your are getting vapour in your fuel line.
Unplug the drain line and put it in a...
FYI we have an updated Rev 7 guide whihc. If you contact support we can send it to you.
This guide doesn't include the requirement of setting the ECA-2 CAN ID which is required for it to function. There are two IDs depending on which vehicle you are using.
We remap the TOT table for the variable rpm limit, so changing the actual table in any other tunes won't do anything as its effectively been removed from the code.
You can however they are fixed as in they don't adjust value based on your RPM launch setpoint.
If you want it variable you can disable the ETC cut on engine limiter, however spark retard alone wont hold the RPM, it does work quite well though.

I had my entire cluster, ICC, bcm, dash climate model and all climate flaps replaced under warranty at a cost for approx 6k aud under warranty due to a sticking flip that would go full cold no matter the setting in winter. These systems are complex and even if towed to ford head office they may...
If you buy PCMTEC pro tuner and utilise our Datalogger it may assist in fault finding however I suspect you have a electrical issue which ultimately may be challenging. I would look for a good local auto electrician who is up to date with modern scan tools.
When we do transbrake it will likely be released for both simultaneously as they use the same firmware updates, it is simply the clutch maps that are different. This will be released to workshops with the ability to test first.
It isn't, it is a hard limit. Assuming you had a perfectly flat torque curve it would be like putting a stopper under your pedal. Obviously torque is not flat, so it will vary, but it will effectively limit the maximum torque, it won't rescale the entire torque the pedal asks for.
Eg if you are...
I have attempted to start a write up on how to calibrate this. The section on WOP = WOT and torque calculation is yet to come.
Thanks to Mitch for the help

That is why we have produced a reference design and sent it to anyone who is a registered member. There are hundreds of ways the kit can be built, and also 15 different vehicle types it supports, as such the kit needs to be designed for the vehicle in question.
Also tuning a flex fuel car...
I feel like there definitely would be a market for it l. Imagine whipple being able to sell into California and pass with flying colours.
Maybe even an e85 only cal.
We don't let anyone post unless they have purchased the software due to huge amounts of spam.
We have a support portal if you wish you contact us https://support.pcmtec.com there instead. I thought you were a direct customer, not a B2C
Out of all the dealers we have dealt with Ray has been phenomenal to work with. I am not a tuner myself and cannot/will not comment on tuners tuning capability however I can't recommend himself or anyone else on our workshop page enough. He gave us a go when many others wouldn't, spend hours...
Going catless is illegal and a no starter for a street car. Everyone OEM that makes 800hp with 150,000km warranties can do it, why can't the aftermarket do the same?
